humm well if SE didnt do the chocobo raiseing in the update why is there an NPC selling chocobo eggs un jeuno? anyone know?

what part of Jeuno? and how much are the NPC's selling it for?

(btw, it's most likely a rare/ex item, which would mean that you won't be able to trade on the auction house)

Probably for the same reason people have been doing the new BCNMs in TAU areas for rare Chocobo egg drops. Just because they haven't put in the support for actually hatching and growing chocobos, doesn't mean they can't add eggs for everyone who wants to get a jump on the competition when that stuff gets added in the next week or two.

{Edit} As it occurs to me I may have just told people information they didn't already know, let me add a few details. The one BC I'm confirmed on dropping eggs is the 3k Imperial Standing one in Mamook, against the Collibri NM, and the egg is a guaranteed drop from what I understand. Oh, and bring a bard, sleeping the little Collibris so they'll despawn after 30 seconds is apparently the key to this one.
