Last night I was fighting a goobue in Zitah while waiting for my friend to come D2 me. Well I got dc'd in the middle of the fight and just turned my monitor off and went to sleep because I was dc'ing all night. Today I turned it back on along with my speakers to find a familiar theme playing, but not one that I can remember from FFXI. I haven't messed with any themes in the game, so I ruled that out. The theme I heard reminded me of a theme from FF7. I istened to it for until it went back to the normal battle theme from FFXI. So my question is, has anyone else heard this or even listened to the entire battle theme long enough to realize it? Or was I just hearing things?

I had this happen to me once, quite a long time ago. The game crashed and the battle music kept playing. Though for me, it kept looping a ~5 sec portion of the music. -

It happens in five-second intervals when there is heavy load on the PC or heavy RAM/VRAM use, I believe. Of course, for me it's during gameplay.Almost four years experience playing FFXI. I am a Raccoon, not a Hyena--despite my name states I am one.
Get creative and pretend these happened.

weirdest thing I ever had happen after a crash was I kept getting the Front Mission Online Wallpaper on POL with an error message. Which struck me as odd because FMO never got a stateside release.
