Uh... /cheer <ft> when they level. Does that count?

They start attacking when you do. They /heal when you do (unless they have DoT). They follow you around. If you want to disband them early (I don't know why you would), click on them and select "Disband" from the menu. If you want them to say a bunch of stuff for ten minutes before finally telling you how close they are to leveling, click on them and select "Talk" from the menu. That's the extent of control you have over your NPC.

<ft> is what you use if you want to cast spells on them or something.

        Re: NPC Help

There aren't any. If you mean to cure the NPC, /ma "Cure" <ft>. If you mean to make them cure you, get hit and cross your fingers.

Edit: And there's nothing even remotely like a status macro.

            Re: NPC Help

I have tried them. There is no <fthp>, <ftmp>, or <fttp>.

I'm not just making this stuff up, y'know.

              Re: NPC Help

I've seen someone use a hp% macro for their NPC but I don't know what it is.
I wish we could buy FFXII style Gambits for our NPCs that would be neat, then again, I wish I could do that for some of the people I encounter too >.>

                  Re: NPC Help

Adventuring Fellows were added in the July 19, 2005 update. The notes for that update mention <ft>, but no other NPC-specific macro items. I can't find any mentioned in any of the notes for subsequent updates, somepage, or FFXIclopedia. If there's anything in there, I've never seen it, but I'll happily admit I'm wrong if someone can provide a working status macro.

I have leveled mine up to 57 so far, and not once did I know about any status type stuff for him. He, if set properly at a R. Point, will tell you when he is going to WS and also if he is low on health and magic.
