Creating A Linkshell

Ok, so im sitten in port Bastok and this guy escorts me to the place to buy a linkpearl. I have to wait about 2 minutes and when the shop opened I went to buy the Ls and it wouldnt lemme purchase it. I have the right amount of gil and no linkpearl equipped. I am lvl 20 but I have heard that lvl doesnt matter while creating a Ls. Can someone answer my question. Also I searched this topic alreadii and found no answer sdo dont reply saying to search

When you say it wouldn't let you purchase it... howso? Do you get an error of any sort? Grayed out in the purchase window?

Ok in the buy/sell menu i goto buy. Then it pops up New Linkshell. I click on that and nothing happens. 3 ppl tried it also and it didnt work.

Shops in Vana'diel open and close according to set schedules. If it is within business hours and you still cannot purchase a new linkshell, the shop may be currently out of stock. There is a limit to the number of new linkshells that are sold every day, and once they sell out, you will not be able to purchase one. However, if a shop is sold out, you can either look for another shop, or wait another day and return to the same shop again. If it is after business hours and the shop is closed, please wait for it to open again.

Maybe they're out of stock? It doesn't say if you have to wait an in-game day or an RL day. Try another vendor?
