Hey everyone I use to play final fantasy XI a couple years ago and then i cancelled it after a while. When i went back to playing it with a new character it seemed like the places where you start off like bastok and sandoria etc were dead, there werent a lot of charaters. Is there a good world to start off in where there are more new people playing??

no there isn't any "better" places to start. EVERYONE starts in one of the 3 nations. The fact that there is no one there is simply a matter of there not being many low level players on your server.

I use Sylph server and Leviathan and theres always newbies around the nations if that's what you mean.
