Grammar nazis are fun to watch, specially when they try so hard.

I like the Grammar Nazis who can't spell, personally. They're picky as hell about a capitalization, or not using "U R," or placing an apostrophe somewhere, but they can't spell simple words, and usually misspell something while correcting another. It never fails to get a laugh from me.

And I've always found e-mail sims and stuff like that way too slow for my taste.

                (Aha! that was on topic!)

It's no where near as awesome as sitting around with some pals and playing out a damn good yarn, sipping on mountain dew and munching on cheetos, but it's not nearly as time consuming and deals with the issue of finding a good group to game with.
I always cook chicken fingers or make a giant pile of sammiches for D&D night. Cheetos fail. Speaking of which, I have to get working on my campaign.

As for the topic, I can't seriously RP on this game. My old LS tried it one night though, it went something like this:

<Z> Hail, fellow Linkshell members! Tonight let us travel to Altepa and acquire a gate crystal. While we're there, we might enjoy some fishing and Galkan hospitality.
                    <Darkie> lol, fag
                    <Z> NO U
                    <Lenee> OH SHI-

It didn't work. I'm aspiring to be a writer at some point, and for whatever reason I've created a little background for every character I've ever made in different games. Even my mule Debauchery has a background, even though it's completely silly BS. By the way, if you ever see her in Windy, I suggest running. She'll molest you.

Well, I was mostly calling on the cliches of the D&D geek subculture, although I do like cheetos, they don't go too well with D&D in practice.

I mean, I'd hate to see my dice after a few sessions of cheeto eating.

I'd hate to know what it was like for her in school with a name like that.
And I was thinking Archibald would've been a horrible name to have. (No offense to anyone with that name)

She's a diabolical little creature filled with hate, taking great glee in the discomfort of others. She didn't grow up, either. She's a manifestation of my main character's hatred and humiliation. Debauchery is win.

I never ate cheetos while playing either. That's just a mess and a half.

We'll go with that, sure. Wrote the original draft when I was 16, so..Yeah. I laugh every time I re-read it.

I fail to see the emo-ness of what is essentially an evil sadist.

Most villainous, hateful beings I've watched/read about aren't in the habit of self-pity or cutting themselves.

They aren't in the habit of pity at all, and they enjoy cutting others.
