Alright so I finally got the email that my game has been shipped. I've been thinking about some names for my character (most likely to be a female Hume or Mithra) and I was wondering which is you guys' favorite!

1)Garnette
2)Garnet (different spelling, obviously)
3)Cordelia
4)Corin
5)Alanna
6)Kairi

Tbh I think they all will have. I even think alot of variations of those names will have been used as well. There is something like 1,500,000 characters on the servers.

I have some adivce for you.

Do not choose anything that in the slightest resembles Garnet. Be creative and orginal when picking your name! (I can't even tell you how many Sephiroth incarnartes are in my server)

Haha...yeah I figured there'd be plenty of Sephiroth's. I actually just really like the name Garnet, not just for the FFIX character. It's one of my favorite names.

I'd definitely suggest going with something original that you really like rather than going for a derivation of a FF, Anime, Cartoon, or other video game name. Because chances are it's already taken, and you'll run into someone else with your name. That's no fun.

When I first made my character I thought it was original. Turns out it was a variation of a character from an FF game. That made me cry on the inside, because I spent like 3 hours thinking of it. I'd go with something from Latin, not alot of people use those sort of names.

I made my name from scratch, so I knew no one would have it. :D
