    Re: Notice this?

Cor/Rng seems far better to me then Cor/Nin. The 10 Racc you get from the archer's at 24 is something you get at 20 from /Rng. On top of that you get Sharpshoot and more str(yes guns dmg works on str). Shadows are only *needed* to pull on fast mobs in higher lvls.

With Blu, I seen /nin the most, but to me Whm pre 30, War if you need to tank pre 30 and to DD post 30 and thf post 30 for DD are the best ways to go. Dual Wield doesn't help TP gain that much and unless you spam all your MP away every fight you shouldn't pull hate with a decent tank.

With Pup....well I don't know about Pup. Everyone keeps saying War or Mnk because it has h2h. But Blm and Smn have daggers, Whm have clubs and Brds and Rdm get swords, buut none of them sub melee to try and do more dmg with their weapons. In most cases those jobs have higher ratings and better equipment then pups and still don't attempt that. To me, Pup was *not* meant to melee. It's gear choices are purley mage oriented and it's highest combat skill becomes crap once you start getting to the 30s. People are playing this job like Drg where they should be treating it more like Smn.

Though a C rank skill is ok for soloing, something I hear Pups do well, it's horrible for PTs that routinely hunt IT+ mobs and the like. Sadly this is just one of many reasons why people see Pup as not being an effective PT member. This was a half assed job on creation and something that needs serious work on SE's part.

P.S. people have always used War/whm since the begining of the game. Outside of *very* specific situations, it's been proven to suck horribly. Drk/Whm pre 30 however is a great combo as the Drk can actually make use of their MP pool. Rare job combos don't always mean bad ideas, but some just shouldn't be tried.
