This is getting really fucking annoying. Gilsellers are doing this to us (my Linkshell) in sky whenever we farm pots. SE hasn't made it harder to MPK now, they've just made it so all you have to do is wait for the opertune moment, and then cast a low level spell. Well, I've lost most of my faith in SE in the last month....Not only has there been a HUGE increase in the number of gilsellers in the last two months, it's now easier for them to MPK our asses in sky.

You know what, really SE does what they need to do, you cant fix MPK fully without screwing something up baddly, you try and change exsiting code and adding something else in and have it work right the first time, or at all.......things have to be ajusted slowly, and then the effects monitored (is why we have a way to tell them about bugs and such) then tweeked again, untill it works properly

I'm not whining because they didn't fix it. Oh, no, MPKs are much harder to do the old way, BUT, now there's another glitch that leaves another form of MPK open. And it's MUCH easier to do than the old form of MPK.

Not only that, but you have a scape goat. "I was trying to help them, so I Dia'ed it, but it started attacking them and killed all of them."

Also, no, you can't get in trouble just for KNOWING about something like that. I know how to make Thermite, smoke bombs, I know how to tap phone lines, get free cable, a ton of that shit. I used to read the Anarchist's Cookbook. I know how to make LSD. The thing that would get me in trouble is if I were to actually DO IT. That's how you break the law. That's like saying, you can get a ticket just for KNOWING how to speed. It would be redundant because everyone knows how to speed. Also, I could say this:

Now, everyone knows it, but is anyone going to get in trouble for it? Hell no. If somebody actually decides to make it, THEN they'll get in trouble for it.

Unfortunately, Rodin, there's not way to eliminate MPKing. While it's less flawed than before, there's always going to be holes in the update. The same works with computer virus firmware. Every new update is able to detect current viruses, but there are always new viruses to take their place.

What you ask is the impossible. You, along with 99% of the Vana'diel community need to accept that fact that MPKing and GS's exist. The only thing you can do is get hard-core evidence and present it to a GM.

While that helps, there's always people to take their place.

Also, I could say this:

Take Gasoline, put in styrofoam cups until they dissolve, when they stop dissolving, you have a crude form of napalm.

Now, everyone knows it, but is anyone going to get in trouble for it? Hell no. If somebody actually decides to make it, THEN they'll get in trouble for it.

I'm an advocate of Darwinism.

I know it's impossible to eliminate MPK, but IMO, this is a HUGE oversight on SE's part. It's seriously easy to MPK people.

That's exactly what I was thinking, plus they can't train mobs anymore so even though add mpk is still there many other forms of mpk were solved.

They do have a Hong Kong office aswell, but 2 of their offices are there in the US.

Because, their main HQ are in Hong Kong, so it's not a US company. But if I were to disable their Hong Kong HQ, they would be forced to move their operations to a US office, making it a US company. At that point, SE would be able to make a class action lawsuit against the company, and most likely have it ruled in their favor, because the US and Japan have treaties for trade. It's all in the planning.

I don't think you even need to get a link. Just get the mobs attention in a low hate way like a missed ranged attack, maybe lose an utsusemi shadow or two and run past them. Pretty sure the mob will link and forget about you. Can't get in game to test it now though.

So... what's SE's excuse that they cannot do anything about IGE doing monetary transactions relating to the selling and buying of SE's intellectual property? IGE has US offices, and it's more than likely those offices contain employees who perform transactions for gil. What is the legal reasoning that SE can't shut those down or sue the crap outta them?
