Nearly everyone in my office would be crap at their jobs, there'd be constant bitching and whining and they'd be replaced by someone new every hour or so. Those that are good at their jobs would randomly disappear in front of my eyes now and then, most likely at a critical moment.
Eating lunch at McDonalds would make people super strong and energized instead of fat and lethargic.

If FFXI was real...

I'd end up as fat, soft, squishy, and cuddly Carbuncle. Then I'll be running around playing with other Carbuncles until they are unsummoned. Then I'll be pissed. Yes, I love being fat, soft, cuddly, and furry.

Off! insect repellant would keep mosquito aggro away from you.
Politicians would have to wear -Emnity gear all the time.
Bush would be digging around Altepa Desert looking for WMDs and raging war with Rabao for their Silent Oils.
Your can of Raid would not do too well against high level bugs.
You wouldn't need a degree to get into a Tradeskills.
Chocobos will replace cars, Airships would replace planes, and people would be complaining about the rising cost of White Mage teleports.
Carrying a weapon on you won't be illegal.
People will wonder what Beastmasters do to their pets when they are not observed. Same goes for people and Moogles, and Summoners with their avatars (Shiva? Hmm).
Carnival Cruise Lines would be much more dangerous, especially if Pirates appear.

when a wild animal started to attack you, and you pulled out your weapon, battle music would come out of nowhere while you fight, and when you kill it you get dollors and change as a reward.

oh and lets not forget the numbers that will apear over our heads when we get cut or punched.........
