If FFXI were real, I'd be able to summon glowing/floating/occasionally talking avatars to do my bidding. (Shiva air conditioning? Awesome.)

You could also charm a random animal and force it to fight another animal and people wouldn't hate you. (Unless you took "their" animal that they were planning on butchering.)

Anything you drop on the ground would disappear instantly.

if RL was like FFXI:

It would be perfectly normal to see people running around town without clothes on.
You could change how other peoples clothing looks, but only to yourself.
Most people who leave their country are on a mission.
People wouldn't care about kids with guns, since their RACC would be too low to hit anything.
Beastiality rates would climb to an incredible amount.
Airports would fall out of favor, and be replaced by outpost warps.
Racial discrimination would be ok. Especially against those freaking Elvaan.
Established businesses would only sell a few things. The real money is in the private sector!


If FFXI was like RL:

nobody would use their nice armor while fighting bugs
there'd be 30 different songs playing at once in jeuno, and not a single one outside town.
