Can voke kill?

I'v been smakeing Yags all day leveling and have been useing voke on them to get their attion. But some thing odd just started happening every 3rd or 4th one I use voke on just falls over dead befor it even gets to me. whats the deal cause I'm getten no EXP when it happens.

It's just lag. You hit it before the animation showed you pulling out your weapon.

Provoke does no damage, so it cannot kill anything. My guess is that somebody else killed it. Were they at full HP when you provoked them?

Yeh they had full HP and far as I know I'm the only one hunting Yags in Oztroja right now leastwise I haven't seen anybody else.

well whatever it is not that big a prob just iratating. I just wondered if anybody else had run it something like it. I can deal with it.

check your log, it should say you hit it for xxx damage even if you didn't see the animation.

I'm sure everyone has run into it at one time or another. Especially when fighting too weak mobs in numbers like that.

Just thought of this are Yags weak agenst Bio? Cause my macro hits them with Bio right after useing voke. and thire listed as ep not tw for me.

Not particularly, no. Bio is only going to do a few points of initial damage.

I'm not sure what is wrong with the "It's just lag" explanation. That's all it is. Lag.

I'm sure everyone has run into it at one time or another. Especially when fighting too weak mobs in numbers like that.

I once fought a giant bee in valkrum dunes at level 60 blm. I would take out my scythe, and I wouldn't even get to swing it and it would just fall to the ground dead! All I could do was scratch my head.
