      Derailment ftw.

Might I suggest Dhalmel Pies instead for tanking? Boost to max HP and STR and Atk bennies. Perfect for a NIN tank. Get them while they're hot in Windy Waters when Windy is in first place in conquest. Which is like so true for almost every server I've seen...

I'll have to give them a try.^^ Navarin made more sense to me for dunes levels, but I like that Pies are stackable.

Plus this obvious benefit for Dunes.

They only last 30 min. If I get into a horrible party, I can take comfort that I only lost 20 min of food versus 170 min. For some reason, that ticks me off, no matter how much more cheaper or expensive that 3 hour food maybe >.<

Thankfully I never died and lost my Navarin bonus. I came close a few times though. Now I've moved on to the relative safety of Qufim.

You can use ginger cookies in the dunes and not have to worry even if you die every pull.

I was in a party with a PLD yesterday who ate Ginger Cookies.

He was a Galka PLD. With 37 MP at level 19. I'm not sure why he thought the cookies were necessary.

It's really important for a PLD to get his MP back quickly.

                        Clearly.

I mean, if I were a Galka PLD in the dunes, that's what I'd be focusing on. HMP.

My christ, that's horrible... I am so so sorry for you, man. With a day like that, you're a saint for not completely tearing that RNG a new one. That would have been the icing on the pile of crap, really...

I guess I'm one of those lucky ones who really doesn't get HORRIBLE dunes parties. I mean, I've had my share of bad parties, but people usually "have to go" and I'm personally not opposed to saying "I don't think this is gonna work out" if the party is truly terrible.

Then, there are those rare occasions when someone suggests Korroloka or Buburimu. Those really brighten my day, especially since I get past the dunes levels quickly and without setting foot in that hellish place...

I opted to solo over the past few days.

PLD 17-20 with no real invites. I got some blind invites, but I don't count those. And yeah, I might have been pleasantly surprised at least one of those times, but I'm not taking that chance anymore.

DRG 17-20 with a couple of invites. Both parties sucked, and I gave up after half a dozen fights.

Today is DRK 15 to whatever I can get it to. I'm aiming for 20, but that won't happen.

I so want to leave Dune Parties some times, but I thought if I left, I would get some kind of Part leaving rep. And no one would want to party with me later.
