Does anyone else feel like Konschtat Highlands is... upside down? Like Bastok should be north and Valkurm south? And Gusgen should be on the OTHER side?

I have a tendency to play with the camera a lot while fighting. I unlock it and rotate all around my character for a...cinematic...feel? I guess. I've been doing it forever, and I can't seem to stop. Unless I'm really busy, of course. But while solo I do it all the time.

I do that periodically myself.

If I'm thinking about what it is that I would like to do, I turn my character around in circles standing in one place. I've done this in every game I've ever played that had a 3rd person/bird's eye camera angle. I guess I just like rotating the joystick, or seeing them spin in place helps me think....I don't know.

One of my biggest habits is I'll periodically just leave my computer running with FFXI running, and speakers off, meanwhile I'll be doing something else. It's bugged a few friends of mine and people have often asked why I remain logged in to FFXI if I'm doing something else.

I do that if I have stuff in my bazaar I want to sell.

I have my own tree in rolanberry feilds I sit under.

Everytime I go to rent a chocobo, without fail, I will check will all the choco-handlers for that "free ride".

No matter what else I may have planned, or where I'm headed, if I get offered the task of returning to choco from San dOria >> Bastok or Bastok >> San dOria, I WILL receive the Page of Dragon Chronicles, and come on. Who am I to pass that up?

I'm so close to beating the fastest time records! I want it so bad... for no particular reason other than to say, "I did that, oh yeah. It was all Maz"

YES! I always run the wrong way when I'm in these zones. It just seems backwards to me, and I don't know why. Maybe it's because I subconsiously think that beach/ocean = south. Just from living where I live on the globe. I suppose I don't have the Vana'diel map in my head well enough yet.

I used to /poke everything and everyone I see randomly when I run through an area. I stopped though, after some people got upset about it.

Nowadays though, I seem to have developed the habit to change view points repeatedly.

Every time I get anywhere near a crag, no matter what job, I run into the Dimensional Portal and zone to Al'Taieu and listen to the music for 15 minutes. Then 80% of the time i'll commit suicide and walk back and do whatever it was I was originally doing there.

I do that as well.

I also:

Compulsively auto-sort
Turn my camera while in summoning animation.
Wave to inanimate objects, largely tarus or moogles
Get off my choco to Raise any fallen people, no matter how far I now have to walk. (Especially for poor tarus)
/poke my friends when I see them
/panic when poked by said friends
Squeal at every taru in a hat or hooded robe, especially RDM af hats.
Ogle every hat on every other race (I have a thing for hats... I have no idea why)
Take screenshots of *every* taru drg in full AF that I ever see. They're so adorable in it.
/cheer every fellow smn I see
/laugh or /dance with any taru that /panics or runs circles around me

OCD about Taru. They're just too cute. I can't help it. It's the female in me. >.< Even though I'm Elvaan

Whew... I'm not the only one that does that. Sometimes, I like to play some pretty smooth house music when leveling up my summoning magic or while soloing as well.

How rude... Calling us tarus "inanimate objects." Just because we're small doesn't mean we're not living things! >_<

As for the ones generally aforementioned...

Right after I exit my mog house, I usually pan the camera so that I'm running with the camera facing my character's face.

I have a tendency to /sea all people rather than check them. I guess I have it in my mind that I don't check people unless I get their permission.

I have a tendency to come to this forum while playing to chat with you dunderheads. >_>

I /poke linkshell members and state in linkshell chat: <t> {Found it!}. I usually get poked back or recieve a swift kick in the rear... >_<

I'm habitually turned into the lovable LS scapegoat.

for some reason in S Sandy (and only S sandy) when i'm running between the AH and MH i zoom the camera in and out while i run. it does that weird thing where because the camera zoom and you running are the same speed, it looks as though the camera stops while you keep moving.

All I've gotten in 40+ tries is glyshal greens. I only check the chocobo people to see if I can get a free ride outta it.
