How many true "new" players are there on YOUR server?

    How many true "new" players are there on YOUR server?

    The reason I'm starting this thread, is because I'm a new player (as I've stated in several other threads). As such, my knowledge could be contained in a thimble, with room for a fat thumb. I have gotten a great deal of help from several people in this forum, and also in the game. Random people have given me some nice little trinkets that are probably trash in their eyes, but are really REALLY cool to me!

    This lead me to ponder, how many "new" players are on the servers? Am I part of a dwindling minority over on Carbuncle? Or, since the 360 version came out, are more and more people joining and staying with FFXI?

    Thoughts?

    There seems to be a fair amount of new players joining lately, in light of the expansion and the release of the 360 version. I run into a lot of new people, and try to help them as much as I can (not in the form of gil, but knowledge).

        I am still pretty new, been playing for about 2 months!!

          Well, I'm genuinely new at this, and tonight I had someone run up to me and ask "plz can you spare some money and can you show me some of your magic" so there's at least two of us on Leviathan! >.>

              I too am new to the game i havnt been playing for ...what maybe two weeks? but because of parent divorce issues i only go to my dads house (which is the only place i can play it at) so really ive only been playing for like 4 days.....but i havnt ever really been helped out...one time i gave a rabbit hide to someone that needed it and he sent me 1k gil cause he thaught i was nice for giving it to him for free other than that no one has givin me anything. but the 1k gil was awesome to me cause im trying to get mney for my first new wep and armor(im poor and havnt bought anything yet(everything is SOO expensive at the AH! and i cant find anything worth the amount of money at a regular store))

                I'm also new on Leviathan, been playing 4/5 days now, made it to level 10 (although I keep getting distracted by Ghost Recon), having a blast so far. Now to find a place to level, see you around!

                  Humar, what city are you based out of? I have a few other threads where people have given me some good money making advice. I'm based in Bastok, so all of the advice is centered around there.

                            I am not a new player, I am a returning player, although I cannot log in yet because I do not have my game, it arrives next week, maybe in 2 weeks I dunno, I hope it comes soon! ^^ heh heh

                            I was wondering, a friend lent me his cd a while back and I have the game and the 1st exp installed, and since I wiull still have to update when I get my game in the mail.....would anyone that has MSN msng pass me his/her playonline Content ID and PW so I can just update this weekend....I want to set it up so I can update the program and goto sleep and then I will only have less to install and update when I actually set up my new account....omg that would be so nice if someone would, anyway, since I cannot support the graphics of the game until my new v/card comes, I couldnt even launch the game itself...so there is no chance of malisious behavior, anyone wanna chat on msn aboiut this my email is urmightyzod@hotmail.com drop me a line
