Well, at least he still knows the TOD. I'd much rather someone kill it right off then kill it after I've been following for several hours.

I was helping a friend find his way around the jungle and I happened to see rose garden up. I was a level 52 Drg at the time and my friend was a level 30ish whm so I figured we might be able to take it if I used SS. Well I got it to around 75% then it used bad breath ><.

Someday, we will have revenge.

You guys have no idea what you're doing. You have to give Overgrown Rose a Moon Stone to get it to evolve into Rose Garden. You suckers probably wasted that item on your Jigglypuff, huh?

Its actually EASY to camp this:

Kill first O.Rose and wait for the repop.
Put yourself on follow on the O.Rose that pops.
Go to sleep!
Put your alarm on for 9 hours.
When you wake up, check the game, if youre still folowing the O.Rose, no one has killed it, and RG hasnt popped yet, if you have time, wait a bit more and it should pop really soon.

Normaly, if someone knows about this NM and sees you following the PH, they wont kill it, atleast thats what many people told me.. but thats all based on trust and the good will of others, but then theres allways people who dont know... or the ones who dont care.

So, I'm guessing its low enough level for a 75 not to aggro. Would really suck if O. Rose didn't aggro you and you didnt have the foresight to realize Garden probably would. LOL, wake up and you're at your homepoint. ><

Somepage doesn't list a level, but I imagine somewhere around 60? O. Rose is around 50, so....

Yeah, it's from Pokemon.

I'm not sure it agros a 75, it probably does.

That is why i say 9 hours instead of 10, the window for RG to pop is about an hour and it opens after 9 hours, that is what i have been told and that is what i've read, the problem here is that i cant take my own conclusions because i allways wake up following trees or walls ><

To be sure i guess you could put your alarm on 8:30 hours.

I dont even know if i can beat it you know, all i know is about a thf/blm killing it easy, and a rdm too, both solo, not many comments on how hard it is, actually all i know is that i has horrible accuracy.. i guess that depends on your job.

Someday... someday ill have her! ^^ Then i can be all like.. ahah ! "Your astral sucks!" I hate astrals, so overated ><, i want a vilma's ring so i can stop being laughed at for my electrum ring :-P

The people who laugh are those who have HNMLS and other means to fill their pockets, so no, it's not so bad, because i laugh at their lack of a life :-P but i digress.

I dont have the bawlz to spend so much money for something i can easily (matter of time..) obtain, considering i have to craft for weeks just go get a couple million gil ><

My routine ingame has been, for the last week:

1. Airship to kazam - Kill the o.rose.
2. Start the countdown
3. Go to bibiki to camp the fishing guild for cobalt jellyfish, come back once in a while to get the jellyfish
4. Do something else to pass the time, or go about my life
5. After 8ish hours passed, my inventory filled with jelly, its time to go back to kazam
6. Smelling of fish, i hit the nearest AH to stock on thunder crystals, and off to the jungle
7. I hang around the spawn for R.garden and craft my mercury
8. I wait 3-4 hours, no pop
9. I cry and go to sleep/work/crab-restaurant, but leave the game on, following the rose.
10. I wake up and im all like I need razors! 35!

By the way I still don't see why is this ring better than astral or electrum

Except for the first cast when you are at full MP the rest of the time you'd be macroing +INT/MND rings in that slot.

And +5 more mp would only matter if you were gonna Convert or something but even then it isn't that good. Does it have any hidden effect or a latent or something?
