No one got it, Balfree just mentioned the stats so we knew what that DRG messed up.

(The DRG killed the Overgrown Rose so the NM never spawned it seems)

Does Vilma's ring have a hidden effect? Because if it doesn't then it's not really worth the time for those stats.

But then again I use equip macros for everything so I never have the same piece of gear equiped for long.

Now, the Vivian ring... that's something

Converts 50hp to mp
INT +1, MND +1

Several of my LS members were camping Vivian last night. I don't think they got her though.

It really is a very nice ring.

You forget, the Vilma ring has stats better than an astral. Sure you can use Astrals sooner, but once you hit the equip lvl for Vilma, you switch a Vilma in and switch one astral out. The other astral can be subbed out for your CoP ring or like you said, a Vivian.

Additionally, there is a CoP NM that drops a ring similar to Vilma's, can't remember the name now but had a friend get one.

Vilma's ring is sweet... I want one for my BLM, but I'm really not looking forward to camping it. Maybe someday, but probably not.

Found it Carect Ring. It's All jobs, lvl 20, MP+20, MND +1.

Helpful in that it doesn't have the HP conversion from the astral and the MND bonus... INT would be better, but I won't complain about that. Best of all it was free and we just stumbled across the NM when doing CoP questing.

Its actually EASY to camp this:

Kill first O.Rose and wait for the repop.
Put yourself on follow on the O.Rose that pops.
Go to sleep!
Put your alarm on for 9 hours.
When you wake up, check the game, if youre still folowing the O.Rose, no one has killed it, and RG hasnt popped yet, if you have time, wait a bit more and it should pop really soon.

Normaly, if someone knows about this NM and sees you following the PH, they wont kill it, atleast thats what many people told me.. but thats all based on trust and the good will of others, but then theres allways people who dont know... or the ones who dont care.

As for Vilma... Spawning her would suck. I don't see how you could avoid that many noobs.

If overgrown rose is left alive for 9-10 hours, it morphs into rose garden.

If rose garden is left alive for 9-10 hours, it morphs into voluptuous vilma.

VV has 100% drop rate on the vilma ring.

Asking someone not to kill an NM for your sake is pratically impossible though.

If you claim it, it will never morph
If it turns red, purple, pink, yellow with red dots or if it agros someone, the timer resets.
