    I've been playing since 2003, but my father, who is an avid Xbox gamer (ghost recon and the like) picked up a copy when it launched for the 360. He's 48. He plays on Valefor though. He didn't want to play on Bahamut with me. :/

      No dear you are not. You may now breathe a sigh of relief! LOL My son is 23 and my daughter is 25. I also have 2 grandsons that are 3 and 5 months. My husband also plays and he is 6 years older than me. We have a wonderful friend who is even older than both of us (63) and he plays.
      And at no point did you give your own age. Obviously female.

                  LOL Yes I am female and yes I don't talk about my age. When I was in my teens...pfft who cares!! When I hit 20 it was like, "Wow I'm not a teen....BAH! I'm in my early 20's so who cares!" Then I hit my late 20's and started to think harder on it...but at least I was still in my 20's!! Thirty was a HUGE issue for me....no teens...no twenties....but ThirtySomething....traumatic! But then again it was my early 30's??? Forty...oh hell I give up! I'm old and I know it and I'm NOT advertising anymore!! And ever since that fateful day, I do not talk about my age!

                      I'm 34, and after I get all this paper work with buying a house done, I will also be a FFXI player. (My first house purchase, kinda excited)...

                      I've played most of the other mmo's out there though: eq, daoc, coh/v, wow, sb, uo.

                      I've been a "hardcore" gamer since Ultima II released for the Apple IIe, mostly PC gaming, only have a PS2 for Final Fantasy series, and a few sports titles, which the wife hates me playing. :D
