For the life of me I can't find that link..

So this might have been posted before but I couldn't find the topic.

Anyway a friend of mine expressed interest in playing FFXI. The only problem is that he doesn't have a credit card. Now I know there is a way you can play and pay using a bought temporary type card but I can't find the name of what the card is called let alone a link.

Can anyone post it for me please?

I was thinking of the Playonline VISA card thingy. But I think that one should work too.

The PlayOnline specific one is ePassporte.

I have no experience with any of them, I just happen to remember the name.

I hear ePassporte is iffy at best and sham at worst, avoid the risk. Pre-paid or debit cards are the way to go imo.

Yea, I'd go with one that you can go down to the gas-station or whatever, charge up, and hold in your hand. That way you're at least reasonably sure of what you're getting.
