That's pretty true of all servers (even Bahamut, Kirst and I kid). Last night was the exception, not the rule.

Seraph was no better.

Actually these days when I find there is less of the "english no thanks." JP's on Seraph. Maybe that's just me but in my and my friends nin, rng pts we usually have 1-2 JP and they are often positive to partying with none-Japanese.

What I meant was that it wasn't any different. Bahamut isn't that bad either, but you still find it, just like every other server.

Most servers are really pretty much the same. The grass isn't really any greener.

Ah I misunderstood you. Agreed most of the servers seem to be very alike the others.

My current pet peeve is chocobos.

I don't mind anything else except for the fact that based on stats and speculation, my chocobo should have been red. I poured a lot of work into it and ofcourse it wound up yellow as excpected.

Now if I want a red chocobo I'll have to wait untill the version update and my next egg...

Yeah, same. I'm pretty pissed off my chocobo is yellow. I'm gonna quit chocobo raising for now and wait until people present me with a bit more stats before I go and start raising again. (I want a blue chocobo, damn it. )

Yea thankfully I saved up 3 more ISNM eggs since then so hopefully It'll work out. My current egg was an ISNM75 egg and the only thing I noticed about it is that the stats went up sooner then some of the npc bought eggs.

Looking forward to that october update if I start playing again >_>

Seconding the making out in public people. I've got a pair blacklisted for being obnoxious about that.

Also blatant market cornering. Somebody's buying up all the arcane flowerpots on Phoenix and it's just kinda annoying.

The people who lot in xp parties without even asking if it's okay first. I mean, even if something is required for your AF, that still doesn't make it right for you to just lot - in the middle of battle, no less - without even mentioning it. If they had come into the party saying, "Hey, I need X item for AF (or whatever) and it drops off Y mob, if we get one can I have it?" then that would have been fine. Even after the item drops if you say, "Ooh, I need that for thisandthat, may I lot?" most people would probably understand, and if more than one person needed it, they would all lot for it and the others would pass. But just lotting without even asking first is rude.

Sorry about my soapbox, but someone did that last night and it really pissed me off.

Now for my pet peeve: People who are overly picky ("define overly picky") about parties in the Dunes... I know you want to get out ASAP, but have a little sympathy for newbs, ok?! Specially those without a subjob.

I'll take preety much any party I can get in the dunes. And I'm never surprised (and I don't think any else should be) when a dunes party disbands after a few chains.
