(named) Seals are used to upgrade the base models of the AF3 (Empyrian) armor into the +1 forms. For Head, Hands, Feet and Legs you need to collect 8 of the appropriate seals... for the body you'll need 10. Trade the base piece of equipment to the Trial of the Magians Moogle who isn't hovering over the box in RuLude Gardens and he'll do his whole bippidy boppidy boo crap and activate your quest. After that, you can trade your seals to the box to his left and it will store them for you and keep track of how many more you need to complete your trial. Once you've traded in all 8 (or 10) you can then trade your base equpment back to the moogle and he'll do his bippidy boppidy bullshit again. Boom... you have a +1 piece.

As for the (beastmen/kindred) seals, take them to the NPC "Shami" across from Joachim in Port Jeuno. Trade them to him and he holds onto them for you until you need them again. He and "Shemo?" also convert them into one another at a ratio of 1/3. If nobody has taught you yet... these are the guys you go to to get orbs for the BCNM battles (Burning Circles). These days not many people still do the BCNMs... but they are a good source of certain items that are valuable and sell for a good chunk of moolah. Off the top of my head I know Utsusemi: Ni... Phalanx and Refresh scrolls all drop in there... and are not obtainable through any other means.

By seals, do you mean, Beast or The armorthingymabob ones?

Naaa no one has told me any of that yet, CC was gunna tell me stuff when I leveled more, but he stopped playing a while back, so I've been clueless since then.

Also, do I actually need any of them Armortypethingymabob seal's? I plan on just being BLM/RDM for the time being.

Also... think of it this way. What jobs do you anticipate taking to 99? Are any of those seals for those jobs? If they are, keep them. If they're not... and you have room to hold onto them... stuff them somewhere in your MH. If you don't have room... toss them. They're easy enough to farm up when the time comes. It just really helps to have some of them already collected when it comes time for you to actually work on those pieces.

Probs just BLM & RDM, I don't think I can go through all that leveling again after 2 jobs lol.

My MH is full atm, which is why I was tryna clear out some stuff, I still don't have enough J rep yet to get Gobby Bag either ; ;
Hmm, I'll have a look through them jobs, see if any take my interest, if not, do I just ditch/sell them?

Seals cannot be sold. You either keep them or drop them. They're all Exclusive to you. If you don't plan to ever play a job... toss them. They take up room quickly and many people tend to hoard them for "some time in the future... if I get around to it".
