Not going to do NIN, have you seen the prices of Utsusemi:Ich 700k on carbuncle for the scroll and alot of the others are 100's of K's >.< + phallanx is 400k for my rdm!!

Yeah, that kind of money is much much easier to make once you're at the level cap and dicking around in Abyssea. I wouldn't sweat it too much right now.

I'd grab some peeps and do the bcnm (the jelly one) for it. I managed to get my phalanx free that way. My two friends do it regularly but for the times I was present I never got the drop. but we sell most of the things and split the gil.
It dropped one day I was offline and they were sweet enough to keep it until i was online to give to me. I felt a bit naughty getting a 400k scroll for free. The bcnm is fun to do though. if you can get your rdm to 40 you can use it for that like I do and my friends go drg.
It's quite simple to do drg x2 and a rdm we've never failed.
On the gil side of things I get 350-400k per run, I'm just happy to be taking part most of the time lol

Also, can't all the Ichi scrolls be quested with Tenshodo fame. The quest for that is simple, if mind-numbingly tedious.

Utsusemi can, unless they changed something. That's pretty much the sole reason for spamming Norg fame.

Utsusemi: Ichi can be quested with Tenshodo fame. What on earth are you talking about?

edit: I'm slowga. Still, if you're building Tenshodo fame, Utsusemi is usually the goal, or at least a nice reward along the way.

Not exactly a peeve since it hasn't happened much until this weekend. I joined a VW Windy 1-4 PUG and right when we got our 14th member the stupid fucking leader(s) decided to switch the whole thing over to Bastok. I still need Basty but I didn't have the time to wait for them to come up with another freaking alliance from scratch and everyone disbanded and expressed their displeasure as I believe they'd been setting it up for around 30-45min at the time of switching. I'm pretty new to VW.. is this a regular occurence? People switching completely after getting more than two parties formed?

I dunno. The only time I've done PUG voidwatch I bailed because Yyg showed up and was all "hey let's go do something cool", "ok, let me ditch this voidwatch group". I swear, if the loot system wasn't a pile of ass Voidwatch would be a fairly enjoyable LS oriented event.
