Thought i'd be helpful one last time before bed so I started looking and well…like I said I fell for it. I check some asshole’s bazaar

I started sending him /tells asking (nicely) if I could have at least some of it back. I got burned, I’ll accept that. I’d be ok with getting half of that gil back. They guy can be nice and only screw me over for 1.4m right?

But of course, the guy is ignoring me completely…

As long as people aren't actually confusing language barriers with xenophobia it's ok. Because in all my years playing I saw english speaking people doing and saying pretty nasty stuff to players just because they didn't speak english or were bad at it. Because "everyone should know english".

Oh, I agree. Both sides can be just as bad as each other, but in this case it was a Japanese player kicking me out of the party as soon as they learnt that I was an English player after /tell'ing me something in Japanese which I have no idea what it was, but had an angry smiley on the end.

Also... My ClickAndBuy did not auto-renew, and I get an error whenever I try to reactivate my characters. So I got kicked off, and now can't play. Maybe it's a sign. :\

It annoys me when people CLAIM the have unconditional love for a certain job, that they want to be on that job ALL the time, but would be seen on another job.

What I mean is, THF is your LOVE job. We're in a group. We need a THF and NIN. You want to come NIN. So we have to find a THF because you're the only one with a well-geared THF. You want to come NIN for mostly skillups and to feel important. One of the lot rules might be something like, "Lot for your main job!", but you end up lotting an Iga accessory just because you came as NIN, but the "main" full-time NIN asks for it.

To sum it up, "GREED" is the peeve!

About this, there's a big chance (I'd call it a certainty, but I guess you can never be sure) that it was an apology. Not very comforting after being kicked out, of course. But still an apology.

If it wasn't he/she wouldn't have even bothered sending you a tell. Japanese usually have this thing that when it is no longer pleasant to talk to you or when they don't want to do stuff with you they just pull a disappearing act and avoid all contact (and specially conflict) with you as humanly possible.

In this case they would've just kicked you out, /blist you, and run away from you at full speed. <_<;

Ah fair enough. Nah I don't have a screenshot of the convo. It was basically just them asking what job I could come as through auto-translate, and I answered in English.

Yesterday was something of a busy, off-day for me. So I had no chance to log in to FFXI.

So when I log in today requesting to do BCNM runs (which are now to be done early tomorrow), I had learned that somebody else in my stead had arranged more than 20 Royal Jelly runs in my absence, and without even contributing any of their own seals, to boot! Their haul was two scrolls of Utsusemi: Ni and one of Phalanx . . .

I hope to talk with the (different) person who got the Phalanx scroll tomorrow and see what's happened to it by now, but for now I should get some sleep and get ready for tomorrow.

I love that my monitor went "poof" just before xmas eve and my father in law decided to treat himself to a new monitor and give me his old one. It really feels weird playing with no sound. I never realised how much I react to sound for timing things in ffxi.
Thing is I could of walked into a store and bought the speakers I wanted but the other half wanted to use his voucher online.

Now, my computer is in the shop because it was getting blue screened up the ass. I'm typing all of this and using the internet with my 3DS, which itself deserves a peeve mention.

Kill 250 Mandragoras? No problem! Garuda needs to get the kill shot? No problem! I can only kill on mob every 45 seconds? Problem...

45 Seconds x 250 Kills = 11,250 seconds

11,250 Seconds / 60 Seconds = 187 Minutes

187 Minutes / 60 Minutes = 3 Hours of constantly killing nothing but mandragoras.

Next trial... 250 Couerls. FML...
