For real. Between my hatred of camping NMs and the horror stories I hear there is very little incentive to actually build an Empyrean. The Abyssea leg of it would be a breeze but there's no way in hell I'd make it through the NM camping portion of it.

Peeve: I think my endgame shell dissolved while I was taking a break/having the internet cough up blood. It was empty at event time last night when I checked it.

Would you like me to talk to my shell and see if they're accepting? They're great guys. Mostly it's a social shell that uses Skype to communicate 99% of the time. They do a lot of EG stuff, though. This week alone has been incredibly busy. Let me know everything about your character if you're interested. I'll need to know Job levels, accomplishments, mission/quest progression and aspirations.

I might take you up on that later if my shell has indeed dissolved. Dunno if I'd go for the Skype thing though. *shrug*

Questing for fame sucks. I like a good quest line, but running the same couple over and over takes the fun out of it.

If only you could get fame doing all the other quests rather than having to spam on quest over and over again.

Exactly, I don't have a problem with the number of quests to build fame, its the same one over and over.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: /party macros.

They flood my chat log and make me miss seeing buffs/enfeebles wear off
Seriously not cool when I'm trying to mage it up.

You're talking about my COR macros aren't you? I've been meaning to remacro those to error out and only appear to me. The only purpose they serve is to remind me of luck/unlucky numbers. The Quickdraw ones are just annoying... but I have so Damn many of them that its daunting to consider editing them all out.

lol, yeah...
It's kinda frustrating because normally when I encounter them in that volume I can just /blist the person and move on with my life, but that doesn't really work outside of PUGs with people I will never see or hear from again.

Hey Cid. Changed my macros on COR from /p to /echo. They will no longer bug you... and I actually kinda like /echo now. I'm kinda on an /echo macro spree. Thanks for that.

I did leave one in. People need to see it.

Peeve: Carabosse. At least in a low man group. I was tanking and got hit with a really unlucky spell combo just now.

100%-85%.... Benediction.

100%-30%... no problems at all.

30%-25%... somewhere in here I was hit with Aeroga III followed quickly (super fastcast?) with Aero V before I could get shadows back up. Even with Shell V and Baraera... I took 2400 damage and hit the floor. I only had 900HP after the aga... but even if my HP were topped back off, that damage was 200HP over my HP cap. I would have been toast no matter what without my shadows.

I hear she's a hell of a lot easier when you have 5-7 people with you, I just happened to be giving it a whirl with NIN/DNC, WHM/RDM and THF/NIN. No dice... but a dry run is a dry run... I've never tried to tank her.
