The pot fight for CoP 8-3. I saw a BST solo it, and I know a BLM is almost necessary. However, we don't have either of those in our LS that is that far into CoP yet.

Does anyone think a Fell Cleave strategy might work? Two White Mages taking turns with the Cures to keep mp high, and keep most people except the one Warrior out of -ga3 range?

I Solod that fight on SMN/NIN. Ramuh with Thunderspark to AoE para... and Chaotic Strike to Blunt Damage them to death. I did it at lvl75. Keep them all in a corner with Ramuh and you stay at the opposite Far corner. Shadows to Stay alive long enough to resummon... rinse... repeat.

Granted... I was geared to the gills with the best stuff at the time... and I only lived with about 100hp and 200ish mp left. If you asked me to do it now at 95? Absolutely.

Do you have a SMN that far into CoP in your shell?

Nope, no Summoners either. Thought I had a Summoner one time, but he ended up not coming...

But, along those lines, I could keep them Paralyzed and between 2 WHMs we can probably keep the WAR cured enough.

I actually found Dynamis-Jeuno (the only other one I've done) to be rather fun. There were at least two good camps that were out of aggro range and getting to the TEs wasn't a big problem...and we didn't have any ninjas go BOOM on us. Windurst, on the other hand, had only one camp that we found (right at the mog house) and the TEs were heavily guarded.

I find bastok to be the best of the 4 cities. The TEs are all easy to get on Bst, there's a really good camp behind the AH area. And 2 (or 4 if you can proc with magic) NMs that are on 15 minutes timers, so good chances for 100s.

I recall you saying that a couple months ago when you were living in Dyna. I think we're gonna do Windy one more week with a bit of a different strategy. We wiped this time, couldn't keep RR up enough. BLMs and Ninjas ate us up.

Nin should never kill you lol. Everyone hold off until someone JA-procs it. Cancels their 2hr (which I’m sure you knew). They blow up usually around 10-30% in my experiences. If your using a Dnc or /Dnc, keep in mind you can do steps and flourshes even when if your back is turned to them. Tell your tough-guy DDs to chill until mobs are proced.

Blms on the other hand…best advice I can offer is to silence them asap. Or (what I used to do), just try and keep them stunned with whatever JA/Spell/WS you have and kill asap.

What got us was the BLM -ga3'd us and the NIN went boom in very short order. RDM went down after the -ga3, got right back up and couldn't get RR up in between that and the NIN. It just wasn't planned out very well.

Red Mage is pretty durable. A single -ga spell shouldn't be smooshing him.

Already weakened, possibly double. It was a rough run from start to finish. I think it just took us by surprise.
