To be fair, even when we were all three playing regularly, our play times rarely coincided.

This is true. If only I could find people who played from 6:00am-11:00am EST... or the equivalent. 1 or 2 people I enjoy playing with who are on at the same time as me would be a godsend. Even if that only means I have someone to talk to. Last night in Nyzul with Sonnus and Duzell was the first time I've done anything with anyone in the LS in 3 weeks. Nobody has been on. I didn't even really feel like doing Nyzul... but I like Sonnus so I wanted to help him out.

No... you may not. And besides. If I stayed on Valefor... I would still be playing alone. Just... on Valefor. At least when I hopped to Lakshmi, I got a lot of things done before summer ended and the shell became an abandoned carnival. It's freaking creepy in here with the 3 mules and the other 2 AFK shell members in various zones at various levels.

Never said it wasn't. Unfortunately, I'm a slave to my play-time... as it is directly effected by my work schedule. Damn it work... when will you learn to schedule yourself around my Final Fantasy XI time!?!?

The end of summer was freaking amazing. So much empyrean attained, so much experience gained, so much fun marching into abyssea with a full alliance and owning the place and getting people surprise loot they didn't even expect to get when they joined. Such good times. Just made it more depressing when suddenly it became miraculous to be able to get a full party together, much less an alliance. I'm glad you and Murph got to be around for the tail end of it, but bummed that it ended for all of us.

It definitely was awesome. I think I just got too used to it and expected it to last for longer than it did. It was great for what it was. Now? Not so much. If nothing else... I was banking on you and murph still being there when it all came to a crashing halt.

I don't blame you, Murph. After you and Lago left, I was considering taking a break myself. I didn't... but that was only because I had plenty of things I could do solo that were on my list. I got through a good majority of them... including finishing Windy Missions and grinding up through WotG: Windy Quests. Now that my list is significantly shorter... I'm starting to get more anxious about playing alone. I'm sick of pick-ups these days. There's always at least 1 (usually more) people whos skills are gimped... or who have no idea how to play the jobs they say they have.

That's a peeve... there:

When I ask "what jobs do you have?"... what I'm asking is "What jobs do you have that you're good at playing"... not "How many 95s do you have that are geared to shit and have no skills". When someone tells me "I have NIN, THF, PUP and BLU" I expect that you know how to play those jobs well. When we get to an event and you THEN decide to tell me "Well you told me to come on THF... it's like... my worst job"... that's when I get irritated. If I have to ask you "well... what job are you good at then?"... it's usually already too late.

Same thing happened to me when I found the LS I started playing FFxi on went toxic and died. Not long after I found that the missing DynaLS leader could be found selling off tons of currency in Rolanberry Mall. I'm glad I found a fairly permanent group now.

And about your peeve, Yyg. I totally agree. Sure I could lvl a bunch of jobs rather easily and attempt for Maat's cap... but I'd rather just make what I have going perfect. I'd consider all my 90+ jobs my main at this point. Don't know if I'll grow another and if I do it'll either be BLM or DRG... and that one will be awesome and fully skilled too.

I usually just run into squiggs in passing at jueno
I usually see neverslip dead in Aby-Ulg fighting Ongioboingo
And usually Cleverninja and I just send /tells to each other about who stinks more (which is Cleverninja btw).
I did do some activities with Pxch but…he disappeared.

I didn't die that run and as DNC/NoSub helped tank the endboss as everyone else wiped
