Burning out. Especially after a bad night of no drops, and a bit of accidental death and dismemberment. Oh, and the cardinal sin of the MMO, requiring players to schedule their gametime. I have no problem killing things, or running around a bunch, but waiting on time windows to go kill things? That really grinds my gears.

Mobs that take buffs you've paid for (cruror buffs in Abyssea or FoV buffs). I'm cool with mobs taking buffs that you can easily reapply -- but not ones you have to run back to somewhere else to get. It's just rude!

Prices on some scrolls are beyond f'ing insane. I get "Supply and Demand" and all -- but how about increasing the drop rate a little for some things, or making them randomly available in chests? Raise III used to be about 5k. Now it's 1.2 million. I've had it for ages, but people who are leveling WHM now are just screwed. A couple of the level 40 NIN scrolls are also expensive, though not near R3 prices.

Funny part is that since xp is so readily available, most people don't care what Raise they get anymore.

I dont understand how it was ever 5k in the first place, slip. I mean hell... I've looked it up a thousand times... and the drop rate is awful... and so few things even drop it at all. Am I missing something really obvious?

People stopped running the things that drop it. Biggest one I see is Kirin. Not that no one kills Kirin anymore, but not nearly as much, and with WHM becoming the premier healer, you've got a decreasing supply with an increased demand.

If they'd even toss it in as an occasional BCNM drop, it would help. I remember way back when -- Erase was one of the BCNM drops you really wanted (along with Utsusemi: Ni -- which is still valuable). I think I paid about 480k for it. It dropped down to about 3k a few years later. I'm sure they upped the drop rate on it at some point otherwise the price wouldn't have gone down as quickly as it did.

I still need to go do some BCNMs to try to get Phalanx. It's been around 600k with occasional dips to about 550k. I know that one used to be super-cheap, too.

Is XP recovered the only thing Raise III has going for it?
Do you get more HP during weakend or anything? Is the casting time shorter? More MP efficient?

Because i couldn't really care less about xp loss these days. Even outside abyssea it's capped shortly after a raise or Home Point.

I've done about 5 Kirins in the last couple months....no drops. So I can understand the price had the spell have more effects.

It's useful for raising multiple people at once and not having to wait on a single 60 second recast timer.

Peeve: Full Pink Ninjas. I know it's easy to get and inexpensive, but there is better stuff that is just as easy to get. (Alcides' pieces, for example). It doesn't have to be the OMG BEST PIECE EVAR, just some effort, that's all I ask.

Shit. The AF1 body is one of the better TP pieces for NIN. And it's dead easy to get. Dusk Gloves are cheap as hell, as are Fuma Sune-Ate. Walahra Turban is super easy to get after just 2 besieged runs, so I don't get why people would wear it. The only pink I wore for even a little bit on my NIN was the pants, and the first thing I did was work on getting something better. Which took a day.

Pink Ninjas annoy the hell out of me.
