My New Pet Peeve for FFXI is there Credit Card Verification. Ive been playing since 2005ish and ive been using the same Credit Card Number for it. It Keeps Failing to be Verified. says that the security code in the back is wrong. I HATE YOU SQUARE ENIX. that is all

Im not sure why I keep seeing this in the peeves to be honest. I experience the same credit cvard problems that everyone keeps complaining about... 3 seperate times. As soon as any of them happened to me I did 2 things... first I called my bank's HQ and made sure there was nothing wrong with my card or the linked account... and second... I logged onto the SE customer support chat and spoke with one of the reps who quickly sorted out the issue and registered my card for me. Is that not working anymore? Because it worked for me every time.

I don't know about US cards, but it definitely didn't work with mine.

Was in a party the other day and this guy was like "DO YOU KNOW WHAT LS I'M IN?!?!? I DONT NEED YOU!!!" I'm like "...no..what ls are you in? >_>"

Then suddenly he's all butthurt cus he feels everyone in the server should know his name and LS.

When people suck at a job you love...

Was helping some folks in my linkshell farm AF seals and some guy was a SCH. It was the Colibri in Abyssea-Misareaux Coast. He never blinked once and mage not blinking already sets off red flags. He was randomly casting Luminohelix for maybe 55 damage. We were surrounded by links for one fight and, instead of doing the reasonable thing and doing Manifestation-Sleep II, he starts casting Sleep on them 1 by 1 with Light Arts up and with a Light Staff. Not even that sometimes, he would sometimes cast random debuffs like Paralyze or Blind at the links. Did I mention he never blinked once? He basically full-timed Pluviale and whatever else he was wearing.

I can relate, and it does suck to see people be utterly terrible like that. One shell I was in had a ton of Red Mages in it, but there were days when I could have sworn I was the only one who wasn't wearing my pants on my head.

Unrelated peeve: trying to find a linkshell that's a good fit.

Doors that require multiple people to open. It's such a nuisance and really doesn't add anything to the game.

Some days I just want to say "fuck it" and use some sort of hack to bypass it.

One of the few benefits to being a galka is being able to solo the doors in QSC. But, as I said, it's one of the FEW benefits.

Well of course

I didn't always though, and those doors in garlaige are the absolute worst. QSC and Eldieme are a bit of a pain, but you just need one more warm body to get through.
