I've never tried but people say you can skill up to 75cap on the fortalice in castle zvahl in (S) area.
I think that's kinda correct. From what i remember engage then afk for a few they don't attack.
It should be a bit higher now because of the skill-up patch a few months ago. But it's still a pain in the ass to get there.
I don't need to hear what nuke you are casting, I don't need to hear that you're casting Stun, and I most definitely do not need to hear every time you cast Stoneskin.
People who ask for help with something, without ever intending to actually contribute in any way. I just tried to help someone kill Kur, and this person, who should be more than capable of contributing, simply didn't.
I think it still has to do at least 1HP of damage (not counting bonus effect or enspell damage) for you to get a skill-up.
What he said.
SE changed it a long time ago because having mages being able to skill up without dying (as long as they could keep the mob asleep) was a HUGE no for SE.

Don't worry. Contrary to popular belief, low DMG doesn't cause 0-damage hits*. Low Attack does.
*If you can make your fSTR negative and you use a 1 DMG weapon, you can essentially have 0 DMG and do 0 damage no matter how high your attack is. I believe Avesta used this trick with a Ceremonial Dagger to enspell a certain NM he didn't want to give TP to. I think it was one of those wyvern NMs. But if your weapon's DMG is 2 or higher, you're safe.

Motherfuckers.
Don't be hatin on my stun macro holmes.
I personally prefer people using /p to say what they are doing, gives me time to coordinate and what not. Granted I could stop being bad and just watch the test for them to cast spells and use skills but meh.
MEH I SAY!

Unless you're doing a stun rotation, there's no reason I need to hear it twice in the log.

I agree with that wholeheartedly. I use /p only for Protectra, Shellra, and when I am casting AOE Stoneskin. I have a friend who uses it for all his buffs and enfeebles. I don't play with sound, otherwise it would probably drive me nuts.
The other day someone in a GoV mob had one of those voke macros. But instead of just bothering everyone with VOKE READY! (which we don't fucking care about), there was also a "VOKE READY IN 15 SECONDS!" line. (caps are mine, but get the idea across of that aqua colored text)
This scourge upon us all has various sources:
* idiots who never heard of the /echo command and use /p in their macros for stuff that nobody else fucking cares about like Provoke Ready
* above idiots who share their macros with other idiots who have also never heard of the /echo command
* a new group idiots who think there must be some good reason all these people have /p in macros telling them stuff they don't understand why they need to see it, figure that they are just too stupid to understand why it's there but don't want to admit it, so they put /p in every macro just in case, even on stuff they don't need to see themselves (like casting stoneskin on oneself)
* and then they share *their* macros too

Used to annoy me no end as well especially when you have people asking for help on an NM without doing a scrap of research. Lost count of the number of times I've helped idiots who lacked pop items or keys or just simply failed to do prequests.
It looks like people expecting to be helped without pop items is the hot new thing.
Yesterday, a LS member was in an Empyrean body seal run with a pick-up group. The LS leader was lotting on his seals of cousre. But after everybody else had used up their triggers, he didn't actually have a trigger set on him.
I swear, people in this game have yet to fail to amaze me.
