That's why I avoid stupid people. Does it mean that OMG I might have to solo? Yes it does. I've played this game long enough to know that I'll be a happier person if I just don't interact with them.

It's not that hard. Don't worry about mob exp. Worry about page exp. If a page takes you more than 5 minutes you're doing it wrong.

Pretty much this. I dislike soloing in MMOs since, well if I wanted to play an RPG solo I'd just play an offline RPG. It's just sometimes it becomes a bit necessary.

Stupid people who don’t read what’s in the treasure pools (…in this case me (/sigh)).

Did 3 ksnm99s last night with 3 Bsts (Horns of War). We were all under the impression that the BB items no longer dropped there so we were after some shanks. After the first win there was a behom hide and some horns along with other meh stuff that dropped.

After the end of the second round (my orb at least), I didn’t really pay attention at what behom items dropped. Thought I was lotting on the Horns and it turns out the tongue DOES still drop there. I somehow magically lotted like 950 (thinking it was a horn). About 5 seconds later our Mnk friend realized that was the item we were after. He ended up lotting like 80. i was literally on the ‘pass’ button but the 3rd guy must not have been paying much attention either and he passed…seriously, I needed like 1 more second…so I got the tongue for my lvl 18 mnk.

My buddy was laughing about it and how everything happened so fast. He was cool about it but I’m sure deep down inside he wanted to choke me. Felt very bad…still do.

The 3 of us still have 1000+ KS so…hopefully we’ll get lucky again.

My LS is getting done with Limbus and might start up Nyzul runs to get a few of us through is why I ask... but they will be pretty late runs 1130pm or later....

What ticks you off and sends you into a swirling inferno of anger and frustration?

For me it's when random people check you in town and then comment on your gear. Now don't get me wrong I don't care about /checks, infact I check a lot of people myself but when they go out of thier way to mock your ENM or BCNM or SOLO gear or subjob it pisses me off >_>

Take for example when I used to level drg/whm, I would get a lot of checks concerning my gear and how gimp it was. Now when I play DRG/WHM usually I'm just trying to solo a few more xp to level up, or just looking for a change of pace. For this reason I take off most of my Acc gear and replace it with MP gear.

So next time you see a strange subjob/equipment combo there is no need to try to enlighten the player to the conventional choices

When you put something up on the AH because it is a fast seller and there is only say 5 on the ah. Then you unload at the price they ar going for and some one significantly lowers the price on the items your trying to sell and you can't even sell your product now.

For that matter, why are people still getting exp in places like Qufim and Yuhtunga? There is zero reason. Hell, in the jungle you can't even fucking DO pages, because the first page requires Mandies and Lizards. EXP is merely a means to access the actual content in the game. It is not content, in and of itself. Why intentionally make it take longer?

Yuhtunga pages generally suck, mostly because they require you to go by T/VT gobbies to get to one of the mob types you need. And then there's the sahagin page, which requires you to take two one-way ramps to go between the mobs and the nearest book.


Also, people who can't comprehend that the lowest level in the group might not be the best person to sync to. Or that not syncing at all might be best. If you're doing GoV, syncing one or two levels from the lowest guy might just kick your kill speed into high gear.

I was doing some Gusgen page 2 with someone with sync OFF (because I had an NPC out, but also because I knew it would be more trouble than it was worth and they were still decent XP/kill anyhow). The other guy was about 2 1/2 levels down. Once I dinged a level and the other guy dinged a level, suddenly Ghouls went down twice as fast. And the page bonus was about 1/5 of a level because I had spammed enough of them.

GoV rules for best xp:
1) FINISH PAGES AS FAST AS POSSIBLE
2) FINISH PAGES AS FAST AS POSSIBLE
3) GET NEW PAGES AS FAST AS POSSIBLE (the closer mobs are to the book the better)
4) LOG OFF IN THE ZONE TO KEEP PROWESS
5) FINISH PAGES AS FAST AS POSSIBLE

Multiboxing a group and watching my inventory fill up with crystals and other junk. Also, buying zinc ore, gobbie bag items, and all the miscellaneous other "only have to do it once, but you still have to do it stuff.

Lower tier abyssea NMs. You can have 3 of the big guys up at the same time, but to get the key items to spawn them you have to fight over a single timed spawn or ??? with another group, and it's so rare to find people who will be polite and take turns or speak enough words to come to an equitable arrangement. This especially sucks when dealing with low-man groups and soloists who take for-fucking-ever to finish off a mob, while a dozen people on my side are burning 45 minutes of visitant time and precious life waiting to spawn all the pops they came in with. Not saying there's anything wrong with what they're doing, but it's shitty that the system puts us at odds with eachother.

For that matter, my pet peeve is any part of the game design where the only way you can get what you want is by screwing someone else out of it. Improvements to normal mob respawns are great but people are still giving eachother the shank over VNMs and the like.
