It annoys me because I've always interpreted it to mean the player on the other end doesn't know what the fuck the ability does, and judging by the performance of most people I've seen using it in pickup parties, I can't be far off the mark.

So in my rush to farm up a coffer key for a quest last night I ended up leaving my mog house with only my elemental staves and pimp hat. Everything I was going to be killing was Easy Prey so I figured I didn't really need to spend the extra few minutes shuffling all my inventory.

Definitely not doing that again. Performance took a huge nose dive along with my mp efficiency. I knew I wouldn't be as powerful without my gear but I didn't realize just how much worse off I was going to be without it. It's convinced me that all those people who insist that gear doesn't matter as long as you're skilled are absolutely silly.

Gear is very important. I don't think I'll be leaving home without it ever again.

Getting your account banned without getting it back.

Oh besides that. Getting people to help with stuff they are not interested in helping with.
People that can't skill chain.
People that can't magic burst.

This game required too much skill to play for some people.

Hey hey hey... woah... me and a few members of my shell completely abuse SC all the time. Hayde and I both go as NIN and use Blade: Jin + Blade: Jin = Detonation. In abyssea... with the right buffs on... you can easily get a bonus 900 damage out of one of those. Against light based NMs... I've seen upwards of 12-1500. Its definately not just used to break latents. At least not by me.
