The amount of whining from RDMs is astounding these days. And most of it basically amounts to not holding a monopoly on EXP parties anymore.

As it is right now, the biggest problem that RDM has is that it essentially lacks job identity; personally, I'd infinitely prefer that over being "identified" as a simple heal bot.

That's just sensationalism to the fact Nobuo Uematsu isn't the main go-to composer of Final Fantasy's music anymore. Never mind that I believe he's the one that composed the Mithra theme.

I remember when it was announced that Nobuo Uematsu was going to work on the music for FFXIV. People acted like it was the second coming.

Some people just use them out of boredom since they don't really have any use in normal parties.

They do generate hate actually though I don't think I've ever seen someone pull hate with it.

I think it's like 30 VE or some utterly inconsequential amount. There's absolutely no reason to use them unless you are fighting the appropriate mob type.
