I use to do that trying out SMN for the lawls. :X Noticeably the Pokemon bit.

/party macros.

I think the only ones that don't drive me up the wall are when they're used for pulling(not ranged attacks, just pulling) and announcing pro/shell.

Everything else? Senseless noise that needs to be met with extreme prejudice.

Especially the ones whose /p consists of "Spellname <t>". On every macro. And the spell name is NOT in auto-translate. And it's on self-cast spells like... Stoneskin! Because the whole party needs to know you're casting Stoneskin on yourself!

And my new peeve is people who come to random aby exp alliances with healing jobs and don't heal. In particular, I'm referring to people who bring a strap-on 2-box WHM on /follow (presumably using a healbot plugin), and won't even use Raise on dead people, much less heal.

There was also a JP SCH/WHM last night who refused to caste Raise. He just stood there nuking and nuking, probably just trying to skill up. When I called him on that he tried to whine like I was expecting a main heal out of him. Hey moron, all I ask is for you to get the dead guys up since you're one of the TWO people in the alliance at the moment with even a subjob that has Raise! I then called him on it in roomaji ("doushite {raise} dekinaika"). A few minutes later I noticed he was gone.

there is no reason to get bent out of shape for someone /checking you. I will /check every person I see if I feel inclined. It has never been considered rude unless your extremely pretenious. It is nice to see what gear people have that might help me and my playing experience be that much better. I wouldn't ever comment on how shitty I think it is. No GM would ever jail a player for checking. Give your head a shake.

actually on my server it was/is considered rude as hell by the long time players, i have been on the game since beta and have many times been torn asunder for checking ppl. spamming it is considered harassment and i do kno GM's will jail ppl for it, seen it done and the dude wasnt even really checking people he was just "/em examines you" several times then "/em wonders if you feel examined". the biggest issue i have is ppl /check everyone but wont answer shouts for help, pty invites and the such and if you talk to them and ask them what was the gear on me they liked the best? the tell you i have no idea, why check if you arent going to look at the gear? and most of all... its a social game talk to people.
"/equip main" with no designation will end the /check real quick too

GMs will not jail someone for checking you. They'll tell you to use the freaking filter. The rest of your post makes zero sense to me.

Also some people are obsessive /checkers because they just want to see your level and don't know that you can /sea <t> without checking someone.

I once did that just to annoy a RL friend who used to play this. he later got me back though by "letting" me tank mobs for him.

This and <Bee> <Ready> are usually indicators that the player needs to be shot in the face.

To be honest there should be a button that lets me send a powerful electric shock through the following players:

1. Players who talk about nothing but drugs and getting high and constantly claim they are high while playing. Same with people loudly declaring they are drunk or how much they have drunk.
2. Players who talk in "gangsta" talk. The 90's happened 20 years ago and it was stupid then, fuck off back there please. Usually the player is also doing #1
3. Players using the English client who make sentences out of nothing but auto-translate and wonder why people using non-English clients hate them.
4. Cluster F-Bombers. Now people swearing doesn't bother me. People who do it every other sentence do. Usually the players is also doing #2.
5. People who use <bio> <Break>. I have no idea what that phrase means anyway but you're basically telling everyone that you are taking a break to go cast Bio on something...
6. <Fishing> <t> <Bee> <Ready!> users. Basically it's more or less saying: "Fishing <t> Hornet. I'm ready!"

This hurts my head. On one hand, it shows knowledge that {Fishing} is Japanese slang for pulling; on the other hand, the requisite ignorance for the atrocious misuse of {Bee} still remains.

I discovered KParser. I think I hate people more than ever now. I was consistently doing over 25% of my party's damage all night long. That's not counting my Wyvern. Buster was cruising around outdamaging other members of the party on his own too. It was very very sad.

People can't seem to gear themselves for shit.
