Also, do you type with your fists, converse in one word sentences such as, "Wut?" and "Huh?" usually after you've royally fucked the simplest of tasks up, and have to be led like a shit-eating monkey through every event by people who actually do a bit of research on the game. That right there is usually enough to guarantee you'll be decked out in some of the best gear the game has to offer.

TH only works when you have something come up and you unfortunately need to miss the event.

oh, it also has a 100% drop rate while in duo parties when you DC seconds before the fight ends.

Abyssea leeching has got totally out of hand. I can accept having one leech as key person, but lately there are always at least 3 or 4 leeches in every alliance. It really irks me when a low level mage leech won't even occasionally cast a cure or do anything else for that matter. In a recent party I was in, the leader was leeching (typical) and didn't even bother replacing people when they left. We eventually got down to 9 people (including the 3 leeches) and then just disbanded. In that same party, there were 2 whm leeches, who were always afk, except when they came back occasionally to raise people. Plus, we're now getting alot of people who don't know how to play their job and have gimped skills because they leeched most of the way. I wish SE would put a 70 minimimum on Abyssea.

While I don’t mind leeching as much anymore…some alliances do get out of control. I went to a buffalo party and there was about 17 people. You’d think that would make a decent party right? Well at first, it was one of the best parties I’ve ever been in. there was a Thf pulling at least 5 or more buffalos followed by Blu 1 shotting all of them with a beefed up charged whisker. After about 40 minutes… the thf and blu had to go. so of the 15 peole left 7 were below 50, 4 between 51-75, 2 in the 80s and 2 90s. The 2 90 people there were a WHM and WAR….and the WAR just there to skill up other weapons. Kills became extremely slow and half the alliance chilled by the NPC. I didn’t even realize the level ranges until those 2 people left.

I’ll admit I leeched 2 jobs. Whm from ~50 to 90. Nin from 41 to 90

But am trying to at least research the jobs. Whm healing skill is kinda hard to level. But my Divine/Ehn are nearing caps.
As for Nin, still working on Ninjusts but Katana is capped and working on daggers and GK (evasion capped)

I don’t mind a few lechers if they somewhat participate. I never afk’d except for maybe a bathroom break. On Whm, I used Mnd/curing atmas and did the best I could to keep my party healthy with cure III and IV. On Nin, at lower levels, I engaged mobs and attempted to do my part…though I was doing pretty much 0 damage. Once I got to 50s or 60s, I started pulling for alliances. I also made sure I hand 100s of keys and took care of chests for people.

I do have another 2 jobs I wouldn’t mind getting to sub level…but I agree the lvl requirement should be bumped.

Feather tickle isn't as bad as pecking flurry. I have seen nins and Plds drop to that. I have quite a few times as DRK as well. I thought the pld had all the hate, I soul eater, then guillotine, then it turns and pecking flurries me for nearly 700 damage dropping me instantly.

Usually I can soul eater+Guillotine, then drain on it killing it, but that time I couldn't. Almost killed it though. The next hit the pld did killed it.

I did eat a couple of Pecking Flurries, none for more than 350-400 dmg though. I was the "tank" however, at least half-way. Two WAR/NIN bounced voke back and forth. Basically, whoever had the higher Pentas was the tank for that bird.

It looks like some people are casually doing Campaign again since the merit cap has increased. I wanted to take a break from Abyssea so I went to go do some again myself. In Fort Karugo-Narugo, I was fighting the enemy leader all by myself and was holding him fairly well between me and my rabbit pet. Then this guy comes by and Poisongas all of the yagudos then dies over me. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. But...damn, man!

How is it that every other job I have lvl'd in Beaucy and Xarca always ran into a Eye's on Me that either almost killed me or very nearly killed me... but now that I'm on BLU, I have yet to even see it once in about 5 training regimes of 7 Ahriman (35+)? I swear SE has SuperUltraSecret programming that recognizes what you want and then withholds it from you.

Heh... Its just like my 0/35 for my O-Kotes I was obsessed to get one week.
