I was under the impression it worked like Dom Ops now.

You can get unlimited Regimes in a day and get the xp rewards. Where as getting the Tab and Gil Rewards are still limited to 1 day.

Yes, but reread Elwynn's first post. He's talking about getting full credit. E.g. Tabs and Gil too.

Gotcha, I thought he was saying there was something wrong about the XP reward. I guess I could had read it again and answered my own question.

Anyway, thought I'd add my own new pet peeve.
New people in WoE. I'll admit I was new there once (still am actually) but I picked up pretty quick on what to do (with a little help from Cleverninja). After 2-3 runs, I have a solid idea where you have your targets die.

I was there yesterday and this one guy kept killing crabs/antlions in bad spots. Aggroing bosses like it was his job. Also didn’t bring any form of RR so a random Rdm kept raising him.

Oh, and the lack of Glory coins that drop. Along the 8 people that lot them if they do. 2/30...this may be a long road ahead ; ;

I'm sure I won't see any actual differences (other than suddenly having more people around - and hopefully a better AH situation) -- but it's weird to think that my familiar world of Ifrit is no more.

Now it sucks because you can't accept a regime, finish it later and still get a new one. You have to finish the regime the same day you accept it if you want to get a new one the next day.

And I couldn't care less about the gil rewards. In fact, I didn't even realize you got gil until they mentioned that you wouldn't. That's just not enough gil for me to care.

As for tabs, once you start doing the higher level ones (and use discretion with Repatriation), you'll be swimming in tabs. Between leveling low jobs and skilling up/farming in Sky, I've managed to stay at around a 25k level for over a year now. (I think the cap is either 40k or 50k.)

So all you're worried about is the EXP? Then I'm not sure I see the issue. You can accept a new page anyway. You'll get a message saying you might not get the rewards (meaning Gil/Tabs), but you'll still get the exp. In a zone with easy and abundant mobs near the Field Manual I can tear through my levels by going back after 10-15 minutes or so and grabbing a new page.

I remain completely perplexed by the peeve here.

Tabs may be an issue depending on how much you use them, but the gil you get from FoV is nothing compared to the gil you get from drops anyway.

Before, I could get a page at 23:50, finish it off in a few minutes (depending on zone, etc., of course), then immediately go back to the book and get another page for which I would get tabs if i finished it that fast, too. Then I could get the hell out of there and do something else, with only half an hour taken up.

Even better, I could get a page, log off, then if I got on at the right time, and finished the first two pages page by 23:59, I could get a third page worth of tabs. All within 45 minutes (assuming it took 15 minutes per page of mobs.)

Now I even if I logged off with an almost finished page, then was lucky enough to finish it before 23:59 and get another one, I would still only be able to do one more page for tabs in a similar timeframe.

In your post just above the one of mine you quoted you were talking about how Tabs weren't even that big of a worry because you have a shit ton of them, hence my confusion. My apologies. As your concern is tabs (in bold), then yeah, I can see why that's frustrating.

This made it sound like you don’t care too much about the tabs either since you have so many.

Speaking of tabs, I haven’t checked wiki (if it’s even been updated) or had a chance to run out anywhere, what does the new FoV offer?

Probably been discussed to death but…just a mini pet peeve.

Went to Aby-Attowa with a Mnk friend and a Blm tagged along just to help us proc. Plan was to get MNK for him and NIN seals for me. Seemed like a good idea. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone right? Fought 8 Berstuks

Fight 1 - MNK seal
Fight 2 – THF, THF, MNK, DNC seals
Fight 3 - Nothing
Fight 4 – MNK, MNK, NIN seals
Fight 5 – THF, THF, DNC, MNK seals
Fight 6 – THF seal.
Fight 7 – MNK, MNK, THF seals
Fight 8 – THF, DNC seals

So 7 MNK seals, 6 THF seals, 3 DNC seals….and 1 NIN seal.

Guess what job I have leveled…guess what 3 jobs my buddy has leveled

Swear to rod they put something in the programming that recognizes what people need, then it screws you on it. We had a hard time getting THF and DNC off Berstuk.

We kept getting nothing but WAR & DNC seals (with the occasional COR thrown in) when I was trying to get ONE darn WHM seal. Mind you, when we were trying the most, I had already completed my WAR & DNC gloves. WHM seal finally dropped though, so I'm happy.

Now I need legs.

Port Jeuno has been a cesspool for shouts, you're just picking up on it now because there's more population density coupled with a convenient scapegoat. I'd wager half the shouts you're complaining about are coming from Bahamut natives.
