You can't even pronounce it.

A friend of mine who played FFXI (and quit sometime between Selbina/Mhaura nomad moogles and ToAU) was on that server. He said that they called it "Quetzaca-longname" or something like that.

No, but that's mostly because I don't hear them, hear about people complaining they're hard to pronounce, and they aren't commonly known mythological winged serpents.

To Cid: I'm well aware of the mythos that most of this game's names are derivitive of. I actually went to college for Religion with a minor in Theology.

To Murhpie: Yes... my degree is equally... if not more useless than yours

To everyone else: Usukane is an easy word to pronounce. I would be willing to bet that if you have overheard the Japanese language spoken aloud at any point in time... that you would be able to venture an accurate guess at thwo to pronounce that word. Cuchulainn is a different story... if someone were to butcher that... I wouldn't hold it against them.
