I'll throw my irritations behind Magian Trials. 800 weapon skills on arcana, 800 weapon skills on mandragora, 800 weapon skills on magic pots.

Past two evenings in Ro'maeve and I've done 80 of the first 800. Yay.

It is easy, it's mind numbingly easy. You used to have to get people together after setting up some system for points because no one will do anything if there isn't something directly in it for them, get the ToD of something that pops once a millenium, get all the people together and compete for the pop and then if you get it, you cross every digit you have hoping it would drop what you wanted and someone wouldn't ninja lot on it.

Now you just go out, usually alone, and do the same thing over and over and over and over.

After playing bst up to lvl 73 /whm realising /whm actually is slowing me down and /dnc would provide me with more stamina.

Having to lvl up a low lvl dancer /cry.

I’ve come to like /dnc VERY much at 90 on both Bst and Pup.
For the sole fact that I have another method of stunning. Sucked waiting to get 100tp to use Smash Axe/(insert h2h stun ws here)

I’m not sure what its accuracy is based on but I’ve rarely seen it miss on stun-able mobs.

Though Cure Waltz III is fantastic as well
And I like Haste Samba too…just wish it lasted a little longer.
And the dual wielding lol…but I don’t think it’s as high as /nin.

I didn't know this was an issue in real life. I only ever heard it in the Boondocks.

I always found the sheer absurdity of it hilarious, but that was before I knew people are this stupid.

Last night's peeve: Abyssea has absolutely wrecked low level pickup parties and it has hit one of our shell members pretty hard. The guy's been trying to level Summoner past the Dunes all week with no invites and basically straight out said that it's frustrating to the point of discouraging him from logging in.

That really upsets me. That Abyssea's effect on the rest of the game is discouraging people from even trying to get in the game. Seriously, think about that.

Sure I somehow pulled a full party out of my ass for us to romp around in the dunes by the end of the night, but that's not exactly something I do on a regular basis because of my other peeve: leading parties. If this person was not a friend and shell member I would not have been leading a party last night. I don't like having to be responsible and make decisions for folks when I'm playing FFXI. I'm not terribly good at it and I don't enjoy it.

Duo, trio. I guess they're like magic words. SE added things before Abyssea to try and get players to realize there are things that can be done with less than 6 people, things like experience parties.

SMN should be able to solo past dunes levels anyway. No one wants to party there for a reason.
