You know how SE said they fixed all the times when the game took your automaton away so that your 20 minute activate timer didn't reset just because of the cutscene at the start of Besieged, etc.?

Well I just found one that they missed.

Activate your automaton, then get on a chocobo. Hello Activate recast timer.

Good work, SE.

I remember when the Wyvern was on the two hour cool down, and you would just summon the wyvern, and get on the chocobo... Now THAT was annoying.

And here I was hoping to get BLU 50 and the AF quests going tonight. Oh well, maybe I'll get at least 49 after they finish it up.

Two-thirds of our Dynamis shell wasn't on in time for our Beaucadine run, so we ended up pushing it back a bit. No conflicts arose because of it, but still...

It doesn't affect me because I don't have clears, but the Dyna shell associated with my LS has gotten jacked from BCD at least twice, by the same JP shell.

...and the emergency maint is better than being unable to log in (or sometimes unable to log out), which is the problem that started it. At least Sylph and Odin had the problem, probably more servers.

Bahamut is actually very nice when it comes to dynamis scheduling. Everyone uses it, nobody crowds or steals the zones. Sometimes it comes down to the wire as far as timings (a couple times we've had to wait for another shell to finish up, or have had other shells waiting on us), but the people are always friendly and accommodating. One more reason for me not to move servers, I suppose.

What's the situation with people low-manning Dyna now? Before I quit we were steamrolling most zones with 10-15 (which is just as well because nearly everyone had either quit in favour of Abyssea or left the game totally). Appreciate there are still 14 levels to go but I'd imagine Dyna will be trivial content at that point although there will be little reason to touch the content then anyway outside of macro pieces and Dyna is a particularly soul-destroying place to spend your time waiting for that one specific drop.

Depending on the gear and intelligence of the group you run with it's generally easy to full clear everything outside of Icelands with around 6-12. It was possible to do a farm run in Xarc with 6 at 75, main difference is you can clear a whole lot more now(although it's not as much of a push over as the other zones since the demons are higher level than them). I wouldn't know from experience since I avoid that event like the plague.

Accomplishment and Pet Peeve:

I have finished Magian OATs up to a point where now Sword and Axe can both strike twice in an attack round.

...And they're still inferior to either Joyeuse or Temperance Axe! This is going to be a long 600 Arcana and 600 Undead.

Edit: Actually, 600 Arcana is turning out to be pretty easy. Everybody has an Arcana they want to fight. 600 Undead is turning out to be the Magian Trial from Hell.

New Peeve: the fact that I am now capable of typing GKT with all of you being able to understand precisely what I mean by that. I hope that the implications of that should make it clear enough why it is a peeve.
