Off work today looking forwards to a full day of abyssea xp on my blu but no why would that happen when theres a GD double extended maintanence till 2pm when theres no point joining a party because my ls events start a few hours later.

Well, now that Blu is largely merited, I'm stocked up on 10+ merits, just waiting for the update and the ability to hopefully blitz through the new genkai quest, so I thought I'd (gasp!) go out and do some farming. Also most of my subs that I'm willing to solo are leveled to 49 or 48, and the ones that are 48 are gonna be taken to 49 through campaign ops. So for quite some time to come I'm gonna be looking at farming/crafting and leveling Cor.

Seems SE slightly reduced the NPC sell prices for some of the havestable goods, which is somewhat annoying. In all of the zones you can harvest in, there are only a handful of items that people actually use. So it'd be nice if you could still make some gil off of the stuff you have to NPC.

Which brings back my discontent with the crafting system. We have hundreds of recipes, but we don't use that many of them. And for alot of them the NPC price just isn't that good compared to the effort it takes to farm the ingredients, or buy them.

Granted, I can understand WHY SE did some of this, just look at the abuse whenever a new pastry recipe comes out, but still I wish it were a bit different.

Oh, and other pet peeve, SE announcing what white/black magics will be given, but not telling us Blue Mages what new magic WE'LL get, other than, "New Blue Magics will be released"

Tree Cuttings down to 15k/stack ... might be Trial of Magians... might be ore prices plummeting over something I'm unaware of ... my first guess is that idiots can't wait for quick gils. At the rate it's going down it'll be equal to B. moss. Yeah... I could get some arcane pots but the only way I'd afford to get any is if I sold my cuttings for a decent price... snake eating his tale... more like snake sh!tting in it's mouth.

Besieged... I know I swore that damn thing off but I needed some IS for traveling to Qutrubs and stuff. So I braved the undeadz... my least favorite. In the first (which was the last of Besieged) 10-15 min I couldn't do anything. I was petrified 2x upon entry,brought down to 300hp right off the bat after using a Giga drink... used a potion to get back to full then was ranged attacked several times down to literally 1hp. Items weren't working right off the bat so I kept getting stalled in trying to save my ass. We got resupplied and I got my full life back only to get strippga'd over and over and over and over... then I tried another mob and was charmed at least 5x before I got away. The only saving grace was that I got in at the end and didn't get DC'd so I ended up with 1.4k exp/IS... but it was the most useless feeling doing basically nothing... I don't even know how it is I did enough to get that exp/IS. It was sooooo frustrating.

I was FoV slumming in Zitah yesterday. Page 5 is awesome easy for 60-62. Nothing I couldn't solo, really, but it's nice to have the extra pair of fists... or whatever those are.

So I run up to a coeurl and hit Deploy. Ummm... where is he? Then I notice that his HP bar has vanished, meaning he's run out of range. Retrieve! Retrieve! Retrieve?

Apparently there's a spot around (E-8) that fucks up pet pathing, and the he runs away until the battle is over. I thought he was probably runing around in the loop to the north, but at least one time I saw him return from the east, so WTF?

Maybe he saw a cute little female automaton & thought he'd sneak away for a little nookie...

But there are so many different ways/reasons... that term has a connotation for me when it comes to sex. Nookie, another... make love, another... taco-bomb'n, yet another...

As WHM, it irks me no end when people start screaming for status cures (Blindna, Silena, Paralyna, etc...) the instant they're hit with a status. Yes - I know the tiger paralyzed you all. You can see I'm casting something right now -- it's not like I've gone off to get myself a sandwich or something. I'm far more interested in keeping the PLD up and running than I am in paralyna-ing the DRK.

I now let parties know that people may politely ask for status relief if it's clear that I haven't noticed that something needs to be remedied. I also let them know that if you scream for Poisona before the fly's Venom animation has stopped, you're going to stay poisoned for a good long while.

J9 uses mew, I use meow, and only with the, "Now meow!" thing.
