I find it funny yet cruel that nobody wants my rdm to pt with,
33 atm and it's like I'm carrying ebola or something. I know at 40/41 people will be kissing my feet andI'll be healing more people than jesus did.
I've been back from my holidays since Wednesday and I havent been able to get a pt at all.

I remember that being a particularly good time to level. You're just getting Dispel and against beetles and crawlers it's pretty much necessary.

I have all of my spells from levelling sch and whm and have the one's that are Rdm onry in preperation. I just seem to be having dire luck with finding others to play with.

Making your own parties until you are level 40 will fix that issue. Because you are redmage, grab a Brd, Dnc, Tank and DDs, and you will see fast kills. That's what I did until lvl 40, and got no issue.

And don't complain about making your own party either. Its not too hard if you know how. And its only for 7 levels. If you make a good party, you can grind that out in two days, maybe one.

And probably a pain in the ass since everyone and their mother is trying to get to 80, not to level their subjobs.

I think that was the level at which I started spending all my time in Rolanberry soloing or duoing with a friend. It's much easier to grab a friend and duo some stuff than it is to find the Tank, Bard and Dancer that Tak suggests. Honestly the "build your own party" advice has always struck me as a poor suggestion because more often than not you won't find the jobs you need to build one, or worse they'll be unwilling to sync down. Much, much easier to just grab a friend and run off to some uninhabited corner of the world for better exp and good company.

I was always in favor of taking my NPC out with my flag up and just soloing. It's slow but at least I was accomplishing something while lfp.

Other times, I'd just tab out and watch TV and listen for the tell chime. Only to tab back in and see that Frgedogutph had BR74'ed me. -.-

I've been doing streetsweeper then going for fov outside jeuno and using my npc.
It's not great but I dont like sitting there lfp.
I'd make my own parties I just dont have much confidence when it comes to leading.
I just hope it speeds up once I have my job defining abilities.
I'm pretty sure it will. I'm just eager to get moving.

I don't see why people say its bad advice. I ALWAYS found the right jobs when I want to party up and level. NEVER once had an issue getting ANY party at all. Maybe I was just lucky. *Shrugs*

I also hated starting parties because I didn't want the hassle of replacing people who were leaving, kicking people who sucked, and deciding where to camp. Among other things.

That isn't that bad either. For the camping, follow the camping guide. Theres a few of them on the web, and are fairly good. As for kicking people, I have no issue with that. If they suck, they are kicked.

To me it was always a hassle no matter what role I took as the leader. People would complain and whine to me about stupid shit. Simply put, I just didn't like leading. I wanted to be simply invited to a party.

I also wouldn't really complain about not getting invites. I'd do my own thing, if I got invited, great, if not, well, there was always the next day. Some people just don't enjoy leading. I wouldn't really fault them for that.

Why oh why am I trying to put together a melee RDM gearset for soloing as RDM/BLU? This can only end in tears.
