Hey, I like Gustaberg. It's nice and flat with none of those obnoxious trees getting in your way when you put on auto-run and go grab a drink.

Pet peeve of the night: White mages who think they can main heal naked
Idiot White Mages who think they can main heal naked, who do a piss poor job of it.

Something about tonight's party just rubbed me the wrong way, especially our White Mage. No gear save for a crumby wand a ranged accuracy necklace and I think an empress hairpin. Oh and while we were waiting for the airship to Kazham she was popping scrolls, ones I'm fairly certain she should have already had many levels ago.

Her performance during the party was equally terrible, although no one died oddly enough. No barspells, no regen, always got hit by the Mandy's Dreamflower, ran into the center of the melees before casting curaga(repeatedly!). I swear to god, I think she went afk for the first half of one fight and I ended up saving our tank by cure bombing. Shit is not ok when the Black Mage starts cure bombing the tank.
Oh, and this WHM certainly had no concept of how enfeebles worked. That's for damn sure. Hardly casting Dia at all, casting stuff like Paralyze right as the mob's about to die. Oh, and handing out Poisons and Banishes like they were freaking candy.

I can only hope they're leveling this as a subjob, because their performance was shitty enough to earn them a spot on my blacklist of people I wouldn't trust with any sort of event.

I hate having mage jobs leveled. It means I have to know when someone's being a slack-ass about it.

No amount of ezmode autorun can excuse Gustaberg from all its fail. Dead-looking scenery + irritating outpost location + sadistic NM = sucky zone.

This is a peeve of mine... players who give my favorite job to play, DNC, a bad name by being too lazy to function properly... there's sooooooo many of them too. It really annoyed me when I was lvl'n SAM and knew what the DNCers in my party could do but they weren't doing it... too many macros. When I'm doing DNC right my hands hurt from all the crazy macro'n I'm doing from all my abilities that keep constantly making themselves available.

This sounds mildly (or not so mildly) like you know how to play DNC better then anyone else. Tisk, tisk.

Anywho, this has already been said before but since its soooo short and simple, i'll repeat it.

For god sakes people, the only call you should ever have is <call14>. Turn that <call1> crap off :-D

Necro-digging (pg 423/430)... good job. And no it doesn't mean I play better than everyone else. Merely better than a majority of the people I see playing DNC =P

Ok. Now that I'll be raising another choco soon.... I hate how SE makes it so you can only care for it in your home city. I mean if you can send your bloody moogle to feed your plants why can't you send it to feed your chocobo?

I never thought it possible, but I found new ways of hating the Dunes.

Apparently there is a goblin hill camp and to reach it everyone in the party must die multiple times on the way to camp and the party leader must then disband the entire party on the first pull because the goblin is too high a level.

*sigh*
One of these days I'll learn not to go back, but it's so hard to resist the temptation when it's the only invite all night and you really want to just plough through to finish leveling that subjob.

goblin camp is 16-17 minimum...unless you have a brd or PL
