Yes you have to have skill and ash to be able to claim DrkIx. People who don't have the skill or ash though will spook him and when you do that he runs off and the camping starts all over again. So if another HNM sees it but the person out there doesn't have the skill or ash then they will spook it if another HNM comes up to claim it.

To Aksannyi: Even if I bought an Azoth off AH, I think there would be a 70% (+) chance I'd be buying it from "Excellence" whom I assume is one of your LS's Jeuno mules. Seems "Excellence" sells it almost everytime. When I get the gil, I'll let ya know though. I'd never wanna put it on "lay-away". I remember your post 'bout those those who can't hold their gil for the gear you guys are getting em. I'm only half way to the lowest price AH has had but as soon as I get my Thf from 41-45 that will progress a bit faster.

PetPeeve: farming accts/RMT. I walk outside Port Sandy MH and I find 10+ long-haired hume clones all running in tandem to different places. All have wierd names beginning with xah xbh, xch, wah, wbh, xch, etc. Last night I found a bigger instance of this happening outside Basty Mines MH. 12+ Humes and bout 10 or so Taru all with the wierd name thing and all runnning between the MH, and NPC, and the AH. Suspicious? I would think so. I called a GM. They said they were "definitely" going to look further into the activity and that they aggreed it was "very suspicious".

Funny but when I told my LS about it, because I actually recieved a response having a legit thing to bring to the GM, they didn't believe me that the GM had not just told me to /blist the offenders. I was like "No, that's what they say to cry-babies who get in spats... I found real game-breaking happening" I'm actually in a really good social LS but because everyone has a sack (viral), I can say we do take in a bit o' "the chaf" at times.

Let's see. PLD (Turtle on Mandies), DNCx2 (of which I was one), SAM, BST (w/Jug Pet) and RDM. We go to Yhoator and I am designated puller. I'm like "AWESOME THIS IS GREAT GUYS" inside, but polite on the outside.

Pretty early on I notice that the other DNC isn't doing much. And then I discover why. She's skillchaining! No wonder.

Meanwhile, the SAM is using Tachi:Goten for some fucking reason, and it turns out it's the same one. The other four people meleeing are all skillchaining, even though the RDM is not bursting. I talked to the leader about it (PLD from my LS) and he's all "We have two skillchains set up for faster kills." And I'm all "Dude, no. Just...yeah, no. Without a MB, this is not the fastest way to kill the mob. Everyone SAVE THE DNC should be using their most powerful WS at 100% if we don't have a burst, or two people need to be SCing with a burst, but the DNC should not be one of those people."

And I was told that this was not the time to bring it up.

So, I'm pulling, using steps, waking bitches up from Sleep, and they are just standing around auto attacking the mob that isn't hitting very hard at all for slow ass exp. So I told them I was going, and they got all butthurt.

I just. And there just aren't even words for how frustrated I was. I'm not saying that they were doing everything wrong, but the things they WERE doing wrong were so easy to fix! (Don't get me started on how the DNC was subbing MNK and using the Rare/Ex Treasure Casket H2H at nearly 30.)

This is why I solo!

Oh I understand perfectly where you are coming from. I only have DNC at 40, but all throughout my leveling I never once bothered to WS, why? Because theres better uses for my TP. I was in an epic party once with a BRD and COR throwing up acc, atk, and exp songs and rolls, while I was using Box Step to lower the mobs DEF. Fastest party EVER! Why? Because people were listening! When people DONT listen, exp comes slow, or not at all (due to death usually). Partying should be fun, but also somewhat efficient at the same time, otherwise it drags worse than a snails behind.

{I'm sorry} I really tried to find just one part to quote outta there but there really is just soo much >.< in there that I couldn't pull anything specific out. I have found many, many people don't understand how enfeebling "steps" work. This includes many Dnc/lol. God knows what casters would make us do if they ever read up on "Stutter Step"

Heh. RMTS are always funny to watch/follow. I've seen trains of 15 tarus in Windy running back and forth between the AH, and NPCs. I've also seen the Galka War +5 Taru Blms Burn parties in Valkurm dunes. the galka war grabs a mob, and runs around the tower by the op, until the blms nuke it dead. Standing in the way of thw war is funny, esp if he dies, and the rest of the RMT bastards go down as well :D

But yea... New pet peeve... Waiting on Hi-Potions to sell as you are crafting them for skill ups.

If, by chance, you're on Fairy, /tell my other character Saiph and I'll help you. My seal stack is growing out of control because I solo constantly (approx. 920 seals), so if you're on Fairy, I'll even supply the orbs for you.

I'm convinced this game hates me.

So I'm duoing FoV with my mule (okay, dual boxing). She's on WHM, I'm working to finish my SAM sub. We're synced to 27, my mule's level. So I go out to Rolanberry Fields which is a good level to FoV for us, and we're doing great. Then someone comes to the door. I come back, we're dead from aggro. Unanticipated, and of course I forgot RR on Yamila. Cute.

Home point, come back. Cast RR on Yamila this time, and of course, forgot that Sync removes it, we get aggro from a second gob while fighting the first one, MP runs out, dead, HP.

Come back again, this time I'm pissed. I sync first this time, then RR, then rest to full. Pull a crawler, as I still need two more of them. Pull is smooth, crawler is at like ... 2%, when a Quadav aggros, then calls his buddy to come fuck us up. Kill the crawler (joy) but die again. Reraise, wait for unweak since she doesn't have MP to Raise while weakened, Raise Aks, Recast Reraise, rinse and repeat.

This time, we get another crawler down, but we don't manage to kill it before the Goobue pops out of nowhere and starts raping my face x2. Seriously what the fuck with this game, how frustrating can it get?

Then another linkshell member of course is doing Nyzul 20, and of course gets Goliard. Yes, those Goliard, the ones that have never ever dropped in my presence. Then everyone else tells me about their 3/3 and 1/1 and 600/600 and rubbing it in and I just want to kill people because the only thing that drops at all in Nyzul is retarded people, and PUP weapon. I guarantee if I do Nyzul 20 today, one of four things will happen: 1. We will wipe. 2. Nothing at all will drop. 3. Denali will drop. 4. I will d/c, only to come back later and find that they won and that Goliard did drop.

Fuck my life.

LOL dont feel too bad Aksannyi, my buddy Caelumira (BLU) has yet to get Denali feet to drop, and we been doin Nyzul for well over a year. We hit floor 100, his brother is 4/5 Goliard, and we have all unlocked our mythic ws' and he has yet to get his feet. Theyve dropped twice, but both times someone was unable to pass due to death and we got booted from Nyzul cuz time ran out. Needless to say he's one unhappy camper =P

Murph? Remember how I said two Dancers and the party was made?

. . . yeah, I had kind of assumed the other Dancer would be doing stuff that wasn't weaponskills, as well. I'm sorry, but at the time, a whole "oh, and the other Dancer needs to be using their TP for something other than weaponskilling" disclaimer didn't exactly seem necessary.

And the Red Mage wasn't even Magic Bursting? What the heck was he doing with two different skillchains going on? That's, like, the only reason a Red Mage has nukes: to Magic Burst with them. And heck, it doesn't even have to be a nuke: you can Magic Burst Enfeebles as well (though, if they're landing just fine as is, then you can just get back to the nuking).

To be perfectly honest, I wouldn't be holding it against the party for bothering to at least do skillchains, but the method with which they could have gone about them could have been much, much better, it looks like.

Fenrir used to have a group of RMT that was at least partially human controlled, and actually not dicks.
