I understand the items are supposed to be rare, but after some time they aren't at all, so why not cut players some slack? The guys who wanted to be the first to get them and all that crap already have them so why not modify drop rates after say 6 months to 1 year after the item was added*?

Of course this wasn't me camping, but the guy has been there for days and has a huge collection of "the crappy drop" in his possesion. I feel bad for him. Not only you have to be lucky enough to get the NM among the competition, you also have the most retarded chances to get the drop (IF you ever see it before quitting due to exhaustion.) Nice.

Finding out your timezone is completely stupid for endgame on FFXI. (GMT+10) So I'm restricted to 1 Dynamis run a week and Sky when I eventually get time to get it unlocked.. yay..

One of my major profits is Bloody Bolts. On my server for the first time that I can remember, the price has stayed the same on Bloody Bolt Quivers for about a week. On that same note I've noticed that recently the prices of Revival tree Roots have gone up and the prices of Beastman Blood has gone down. Tree roots went down after SE lowered the NPC price of Remedies now they're back up because this one guy keeps buying them all off the AH. Not only is the guy buying all of the Tree Roots, but he's also buying all of the Beastman Blood so nobody else can make Bloody Bolt heads. So now he's doign it all, selling bloody quivers and bloody bolts too, he might also be selling the heads but I didn't check. I mean seriously, do I need to start camping the AH just so this guy can't buy them anymore, or do I need to go level THF and get TH4 so I can farm my own! The droprate for Beastman Blood with TH1 isn't great and the Droprate for Revival Tree Roots isn't much better. I was in Gusgen Mines yesterday for almost 3 hours just to get one stack of Tree Roots. Over the past 3 days I've noticed that the guy has bought 15+ stacks of beastman blood and about the same amount of Revival Tree Roots. At the very least, that's 375k (25k/Stack) for the Blood and 225k (15k/Stack) for the Roots, so total 600k for just those materials, you'd also have to calculate in cost of crystals and Bronze Ingots to make the heads, so about 100k. Total he's bought 700k worth of materials which is enough to make almost 2Mil worth of bolt quivers.

I know I'm QQing but I wish I had enough time to just sit around and craft those all day >.>;

I don't know what is worse, people destroying the price of bolt quivers or cornering the bolt head market as in Dura's situation. The price of 12 bloody quivers on Fenrir has dropped from 60k to 46k in about 2 weeks, and seems like it will keep dropping. I once asked another woodworker why they would lower their sell price 5k from the average at the time, and their reply was that they didn't want to have to pay to put the item on the AH again if it didn't sell. I just don't understand this mentallity. People are willing to pay whatever price the crafters set it at, doing crap like this only hurts yourself and fellow crafters. "Work smarter not harder". So I've given up for the time being. I will store my stacks until the price goes back up and sell them then. The worst part is this seems to be happening with all of the bolt quivers, and shihei toolbags. There are days I consider if I am leveling the right craft for me.

I haven't seen shihei toolbags lower in price in at least a year. Steady 30-35k for a stack of toolbags, never ever changes.

Pet peeve? My internet kicked me last night - again - and of course Brighthouse claims there is absolutely nothing wrong with my connection (as they ALWAYS do, every time I call them), when I got back 5 minutes later they'd entered Limbus already and I basically wasted 15k, which I know will get used next time we enter but Jesus, impatient people. So they were down a WHM, and I would have figured they'd wait since I was one of only two WHMs for Ultima, and I spent 5 frantic minutes trying to get back on only for them to have entered without me. Even after I texted someone to let them know I would be back ASAP.

Fucking pissed me off. And then when I logged back in and apologized for my connection, people were making fun of me, saying it was a "user error" and that's why I was having trouble with the ISP. I got so angry I told them they were being dicks and I logged off. Fucking christ people, I'm already pissed off about my shitty net, why do you gotta piss me off further? Usually I can dish it out and take it like anyone else, but seriously when I'm already pissy why would you want to further incur the wrath of a bitchy woman?

Yes there, I said it, I'm bitchy! And why shouldn't I be? I pay money for my internet to work all the time, I call those noobs at tech support and practically offer to fellate them for them to come over and FIX my SHIT, and they continue to tell me there's no problem. Obviously, dipshit, I'm not connected, there's a problem. And it happens all the time. Then to further be irritated because no one could be bothered to wait for me, and then be made fun of for something that isn't even my fault, that sent me right over the edge. Fuck.

Is 60K good in your economy?

On Leviathan, anything above 34k is good for me, and 40k+ is epic winz. If 2 nations are tied it'll shoot up to about 60k, but other than that it'll never be that high. Right now they are going for 37k and they have settled at that since last week. Usually the market gets flooded sooner or later and the price starts to drop, but since he's the only one buying ingredients, it is impossible. The acid bolt quiver economy had also leveled out, and since last weekend it has stagnated at 25k a stack which is pretty nice since anything above 20k is good for me. So, now since nobody can get the ingredients for Bloody Bolts, they have resorted to flooding the Acid Bolt market, there is no reason in hell for there to be 47 stacks of Acid Bolt Quivers x12 in the AH! The most I had ever seen for that market was maybe 25, but that was usually on a friday night and they'd be mostly sold out by the next day. Checked yesterday and it was up to 47 stacks and the price was dropping from 25k to 20k so by the time I get home today, Acid Bolt Quivers should be selling for about 12-15k a stack. I know it sounds funny, but I've seen prices as low as 10k a stack before for both those and Holy Bolts as well.

I think maybe we're dealing with a bunch of gilsellers on our server now, (Not saying the new Bolt guy is, but MFWTF) I've gotten RMT tells before for their RMT websites, but yesterday I was on about 6 hours and got not 1 or 2, but 3 tells. I mean, dude stop being so damn obvious. If RMT really wanna make money that badly, they should just make infomercials.
