Actually the LS member in question is another sackholder, a rumourmonger and pretty much the entire source of LS splitting drama. She's caused at least 3 shells to split, one being her own shell.

Right now my current peeve is true sight mobs that I can't solo wandering into places that shouldn't.

To break it down: I got help for the COR AF quest since you need 2 Lamian Fang Keys to finish it in under a week. I found someone willing to open the gate for me so that went fine.

I killed the NM in Maze of Shakrami and started heading back to the ??? in Arrapago.

I was passing under the tunnel where all of the leeches and chigoes are and lo and behold an imp had wandered under there. I've never see them go near that tunnel before so you can probably understand why I'm pretty annoyed here.

So I'm currently dead in the Mire. I had no buffer on my WHM because I'm bored to death of campaign so I delevelled. I can't RR because of all of the imps and I can't HP because I don't have any IS to get back to the staging point.

If anyone on Kujata who can solo an imp or two can get to the Mire and find my body in about 40 mins before I'm force HP'd I'll be very greateful. Dunno how I could pay you back but I'll find some way.

Here's an interesting bit of trivia about MMM and Voucher 01. If your marble farming level 1 mule disconnects or somehow lags when zoning to the lobby area, it will set the mob level to the next highest member. Which unless you've insisted on two level mules, is going to be a bit higher than you were expecting.

So yeah, that's what happened to me just now. I died, and we had to abort the maze. MY maze. I went as BLM49 and the third was DRG60, and I had the no-job-abilities rune. So my easy-farming elementals were suddenly level 50+, and the higher level was gimped. I started by trying to drop a Fire 1 on one of them and it didn't die. Then it cast a couple of Firagas while I was in WTF mode, and I did die. Thank goodness FoV reraise is convenient for MMM.

The problem? Apparently MS version update was trying to update IE on our level mule's computer (who doesn't even use IE) and that somehow caused the lag. Thanks, Bill.

I don't know for sure, but this probably means I lost my 6 C.C. points too.

Unless they changed this, you CAN charm the Maze Lurker mobs ... at least I was able to do so on my 'vermin' run. I went through the first half just fine, but was blocked by 3 T mobs that just refused to split up, as I said. Maybe I'll try it tonight and let you know...

I did this after the April update. And I did this with the Lizard rune, so it's not like I was trying to charm undead.

Yes, I just went into an MMM maze as BST and was able to charm a mob. It's too bad that there were no pulls to speak of, I had to abandon the maze without a single kill because of the mess at the start...

Logging on in the morning to see that nothing on the AH has sold because some impatient fucktard just undercut you on an item guaranteed to sell overnight for the listed price leaving me with no gil to do a damn thing forcing me to spend one of my days off farming yet more stuff that won't sell and clog up all of my MH space because of impatient morons undercutting on an item guaranteed to sell over night leaving me with yet again no gil to do anything else in the game. Thanks to this guy instead of waking up with 100k and time and AH space to go do some fishing I've woke up with just 20k, all of my AH slots full and nothing to do other than waste more gil relisting and hoping that when I check again at the weeekend I haven't been undercut yet again.

Seriously unless it's something that has it's market regularly flooded like Yag Drinks, Oils or Powders all undercutting does is gives RMTs cheap items to buy then re-list later when the price has recovered.

It's times like this I'm tempted to just join a bloody EGLS just to leech off handouts and drop the shell like just about every other EGLS member I've heard people whining about on Alla.

I am totally a believer in the RL>FFXI philosophy. Don't get me wrong. If you have anything else other than FFXI that you'd like or prefer to do with your time, I completely understand that. But if you aren't feeling the game right now, or if you're really busy IRL, don't set up statics with people and then just disappear!

A leveling Static, a BCNM group, my newly formed assault static, and the LSs CoP static just got fucked by three people doing that this week. :/ We don't have a lot of 75s in the shell, and many of those that we do already have their own things to do. So I'm going to have to look outside the shell I guess.

Feel your pain. I had people rip apart one of my old CoP statics because going once a week was too slow for them. Since they were a needed job, tank, and we couldn't get a replacement it killed our static.

Said person proceded to ask me for help with stuff afterwards, needless to say I was not overly happy.

They join exp parties. Do stuff for a while. Then, quietly go AFK, and enjoy the free experience points.

And, some party leaders won't boot them.

I've been looking for Diana Corona in Ro'Maeve for about a week now with no luck. Some BLU I met found it in 20 mobs. There is no justice in this game.

Latest gripe... I wish SE would finish WotG already ... I was enjoying those missions and CSs but no-one seems very interested in anything beyond the Gobbiebag ingredients portion. I'll be hard pressed to talk my CoP static into turning into a WotG static when we finish soon'ish w/o a foresee-able reward besides a measely bullet. Though I am more intrigued by WotG's story so far, even I'd rather opt for something where my time led to a more satisfying reward. I hope the wait on the WotG ending missions will be worth it. That WotG's ending was not included in the latest update/expansion was for me the most disappointing aspect of the update.

Also...Looking over some of the gear available through WotG I now would for Dnc and knowing I not only need to switch armies in the past twice and rank up respectively in both new armies just to gain access to the Ops; but I'd also need a small devoted army do the same for the fights to get several pieces. Oh Airy Buckler and Goblin Cracker... why... WHY!?

Yeah. There were people with Gothic Gauntlets within 1-2 hours of the update. Some of them got it on their first casket. I've been in Xarc for 10 hours and have nothing to show for it.
