Personally I don't believe in those schedulers. As you said in the other thread, people use them to find out when someone is going into a zone and then get there 15 minutes ahead of them and enter. No matter how you look at it, people are just not honorable.

I was even going to apologize formally and start using the scheduler they were until I realized they were full of shit and lied about using DynamisCalendar, now I don't feel as bad about it.

Also I tried Arrapago Remnants for the first time last night, and good god I don't think I've ever disliked any endgame event in the game that much.

I am in a pickup group to do Nysule Isle and the leader gives a quick rundown. First is do not use AoE buffs until we arrive at the floor. As soon as we enter, the SMN in the group use Protectra and Shellra.

Dispite that we make it to floor 25. The leader says to everyone this is our last floor just exit when the floor is complete. The SMN is the first one at the rune and warps us to the next floor. Now we have 2 minutes to complete activate all lamps. Needless to say we lost and were kicked out.

Why the hell would you ever bring a SMN to Nyzul? They're pretty much useless, if you get a Soulflayer floor you're fucked without an actual WHM.

A friend of mine tried to start a group to 5-man Nyzul and wanted me to come as my RDM, with no WHM. Now, I'm good at healing people, but I'm not God. I can't save 5 people from Flayers after Tribulation on RDM as the only mage, that's asking a bit much. Those fuckers are nasty. One mage on Flayer floor = death, plain and simple. People think trying all this retarded shit is going to work out and they can bring more DDs, but they forget about floors like Flayers, or "No Ninjutsu."

People are dumb about Nyzul. Everyone loves Bards, well, Bards are not great for Nyzul. Rather have WHM and RDM combo, it works out so much better. I've done them both, and WHM + RDM is clearly superior.

And of course, my group decided to disband, which pisses me off because now I have to go on pick ups to get my disc. Yeah. Because I truly enjoy going with random idiots I don't know. -.-

I always P, S, and RR as soon as we enter. If I wait until we are on the floor, it never fails that at least one person takes off running and misses buffs and then insists that I do them again. I can't see why casting when you go in would prevent you from succeeding.

Bards actually work for my nyzul group. rdm, brd, thf, mnk, war, sam Hard to loose with that floor unless we keep getting all enemies with do not destroy gears.

COR + Any healer works great because you set the PT up with Evoker's and another buff and the COR sits and hits the lamp-thinger to go to the next floor after the others complete the objective.

Its not terribly exciting for the COR, but admittedly, the high duration of Phantom Roll means you likely don't have to reapply buffs til the next floor at least. As such, the COR stays behind.

Also, BRD has always suffered in time-sensitive events. I feel pity for a lot of the post-update CoP statics being thrown together and shouting for BRDs in 30 and 40 caps of all places. BRDs suck ass there. No BRDs til 60 cap, kthx.

Our original static had a guy who had COR, but we used him on RNG because he had Annihilator and you just can't replace that kind of damage.

There a RDMs who want One-Healer only merit partys.

And then there are RDMs who don't want to be the only back line job (not including the bard) in merit partys.

                    Whats the deal @_@

Its hard making a merit party because RDMs will either bitch and moan about being the only healer, or there being another healer...

RDMs who don't want to solo main heal should put that in their seacom and let you know before they come to the camp. I used to despise main healing, and I'd always put it in my comment. People would ask me to party, I'd ask them if they were going to expect me to main heal, and if they said yes, I'd disband, saying, "{/seacom} {Please check it.}"

People don't read them, but when they invite you for something you're not interested in, they have no right to bitch at you for disbanding if you put it out there.

That is why I always add in "<Healing magic>: X" If I don't feel like main healing when on SMN and SCH. Don't get me wrong I will backup heal but I do like nuking on SCH and actually using my BPs on SMN to support the party and damage mobs instead of sitting there hitting the Cure macro.

Now if only <Read the bloody seacom!> was supported by the auto-translator...

I don't turn down main heal on SCH at 75 because if I want to nuke the hell out of something I can go do it quite easily. Objecting to SCH main heal pre-30 I totally undertand, though, since you don't have anything better than Cure II before then.

After 40 and especially after 56 with /WHM, you can very viably main heal, by the time you get to 68+ on SCH with /RDM your ability to main heal hardly even qualifies as main healing and more like Accession Stoneskin/Regen II/Phalanx spam.

People who bitch and moan about not wanting to level Ninja subjob, especially when they want to level a job that puts it to good use like THF.

I respect people more who bitch about leveling it, BUT still level it anyway while bitching, because they know and have accepted its usefulness in situations, more than i respect the little whiney kids who just whine about it and dont level it.

I also hate those kids who dont want to play a job to its full potential, meaning that they only want to level one subjob because they dont want to level X subjobs. Using THF again as an example, ive seen kids on these Linkshells who are trying to find every way to level THF without NIN or even WAR subjob. Just having DNC leveled is completely gimping yourself. Be versatile, have all the necessary subjobs leveled. Thats all.

Waiting all day for this alliance of black mages to form, to do divine might. Only to fail three times because they didn't know how to properly time nuke. What a waste of a day, items and experience points.

I'll repeat that; we lost three times to divine might, with an alliance full of black mage's...

That is because the only DD jobs that benefit from /NIN are THF, RNG and BLM. Just about any other melee job gets far more use out of /WAR, /THF, /SAM (2 handers only), /DRG and /DNC than it ever will out of /NIN.
