Getting them to bring one of them is hard enough. I swear some melee would forget their fucking weapon if they didn't have it equipped every time they logged in.

Myself >< I'm having one of those runs at the moment where I keep doing stupid things wrong and it's really starting to get to me.

I'm sucking in limbus generally partly because I have to come /smn a lot for carby pulling (which I suck at because I watch the chat log a hell of a lot more than I watch the mobs hp) and /smn after /sch is just horrible, partly because it needs a slightly new style I think, I have merit and dynamis fairly down now (I think) but trying to keep my mp up while roaming limbus zones isn't going so well.

I managed to kill the mnk on the last boss in Apollyon the other day because I funmbled horribly with my macros for about 10 seconds.

Killed ......3 tanks in a Dynamis run (that one was partly lack of sleep)

Just helped wipe my whole sea shell on my first run first by getting stunned, then by getting confused with whose shouted instructions I was supposed to be listening to and raising the wrong people.


On a different subject, one of the new people in my limbus shell is one of those Paralyzes, Poisoned, Silenced, people. I think Aksannyi put it best but it does need the giant red lettering so I won't do it again.

Oh wait, even water is more intelligent than some of the people in FFXI.

EDIT: Saren: I feel ya. I've been there. Some days you can't do anything right. For me, those are the days I'm trying to make an impression. Like my first day "on the job" with the Nyzul static, 5/6 of them are members of (what I'd consider) the best LS on Hades, and I naturally want to make them believe I know my shit well enough to stick around. (Or maybe someday have a good word from them if I decided to apply.) But things went wrong, not really my fault. Sometimes the more I stress myself out the worse I perform, I just have to remember to keep myself calm.

Actually it's not just today Callisto, I've been bored of late. I need to get a new hobby. Or a hauby so I can keep leveling my WAR. Because WAR would be fun. Either or, though. But "hobby" is more attainable (at this moment) than the "hauby."

Edit: Forgot one.

Didn't Benediction on our Kirin burn because it died a LOT faster than I was expecting and I thought the 2 hour was just a bad AoE and then spazzed and only hit curaga 2. Killed my war/sam, highest parsing taru DD friend with that one.

Good luck if you do apply to Ex Aksannyi, whm/brd in my sky ls just joined and they have been a lot less demanding with her than I was expecting.

Not any time soon lol. CK has basically told me I wouldn't get in right now, and I know all the reasons why. My character is a {long time} work in progress. Thanks though. ^_^

LOL... NO!

Unless its some 30 to wtfpwn HP per tick poison, I'm in no hurry. Bio, Silence, Paralyze and Dia, I'll get to it a little faster. I've got better things to do with my strategems than blow them on a Poisona, just suck it how and watch your HP drop slowly. I'll get to it.

For that matter, against mandies you should THANK them for poisoning you unless you're a PLD...

The status heal thing is more annoying when you have a Japanese player who refuses to use the auto-translate function and you get a whole bunch of angry sounding Japanese getting yelled at you even though the whole party is saying {Please use the auto-translate function} {I don't speak any Japanese}.

A PMSing PLD from hell invoked a couple of pet peeves that have been getting my back up.

First she would NOT cut the new players in the party a break. We were in the Citadel and we had a couple of players who were fairly new and a THF. Most people don't see SATA in action until Lv30 and a number of people won't know the concept. The PLD more or less screamed at the entire party for messing up SATA even though she never stood still and did nothing to help the new guys out other than yell "Stand behind it!".

Then she started playing the "I've been playing this game since it came out" card even though PLD and WAR were the only levels she had levelled. She then started making excuses and said she quit for a few years before coming back...

Then comes the most obnoxious card to play "Your party can't stay alive without me!". There were 2 WARS a NIN and 2 PLDs all seeking. We could have repped her at any time yet she still didn't stop freaKing out over every little thing. I was on SCh and a friend of mine was on WHM. The PLD screamed at the WHM for letting her get into the YELLOW even though the PLD had full HP. Then she screamed at my WHM friend again simply because I had to step in and help out with a couple of cures. Last time I checked backup healing was SCH's job.

And lastly she invoked the more annoying one "People who don't know what 'We're disbanding in 15 mins' means.". We had been at the camp for a few hours and half of the party (myself included) were from the UK and it was coming close to 3am. We asked who was close to levelling and a couple of the members only needed about 1k to level so we decided to stay for another 15 mins so they could get their levels. As soon as the last person got their level the following happened

*PLD uses Anniversary Ring*
WHM: You do know we're disbanding now they got thier levels right?
PLD: WTF? You can't even let me get the last of my ring.
Me: We have been telling you for the last half an hour that we're disbanding.
PLD: You suck I only need a few more exp on that ring
SAM: No you just used it...
Me: What's your TNL?
PLD: [Can't remember but it was something like 5-6k]
WHM: We can't stay for that long so you will have to find another party.
PLD: [Something about us all sucking for not letting her user her ring]
*WHM boots the PLD mid-rant*
*Everyone warps out/flees/bloodports*

My friend got a bunch of angry tells from said PLD shortly after but I think she blacklisted her.

Oh and there is static members that never turn up to camp then complain that you "left them behind". That can be annoying.
