Heh, one of the other 2 officers in our shell is our main BLM, I use him as a D2 assassin when someone takes a prolonged unannounced AFK or does something horrendously stupid.

One of the key reasons I dislike doing Dynamis are the "Barbie" players. The people out for shinies and not out for gear that will actually benefit their job or people just wanting any drop, even if they hardly ever play the job.

Really, if you want something just because it looks cool, but you'll never actually use it, go play with your fucking DATs and make it so you can wear it and feel cool.

One of our more comedic ones is a player whose attendance is not that great, was previously WHM/WAR/SAM at 75. Of those 3 jobs only SAM they bothered to get AF for, because someone basically held their hand through it. They leveled RDM to 75 primarily as a Pink Mage with pretty meh gear, with the intention to use it 'only as a solo job' i.e. to not contribute to the shell with it at all.

3-4 days after hitting 75 they say in LS chat, "What zone drops RDM hat, I need that". I received about 15 tells instantly of people lol'ing themselves to death. I'm still waiting for them to go try and solo something of worth, lol.

Another lolworthy one is another Greedalox who insisted to me that all they were missing in order to be able to solo Zip/SC was W.Legs. I told them that it was entirely unneccesary, and that if you can't solo them without W.Legs you can't with them. They disagreed heavily...with me, someone who has actually successfully solo'd said NMs several times, all but the last few coming before I possessed W.Legs. Later they camped Despot solo, and went on and on about how easy it is to solo it as RDM. Despot popped, and they wiped quickly because they didn't know that you shouldn't use Bio on a mob you don't want to feed TP to.

The same person full-times W.Body on BLU. Le sigh.

I'm tempted to raise BRD to 75 but by being as gimp as possible.

Any ideas?

I was thinking about never using either String or Wind. And never pulling. And subbing DRK the whole time.

Use Wind, but with a full-on String skill build.

Use Auster's Staff for elegy and everything else cuz it says rock plus 20.

There was a BRD on Bahamut that got to 75 without a single point in String Skill. He was kind of a dick, but he proved that parties don't care, so long as you're a BRD.

Also, I vote for carols. But maybe only Earth Carol. That seems like a hippie name though, so maybe not.

Never thought I had to put this, but someone stealing a relic that they couldn't lot on, broke their pearl, left the ally then logged off after it goes into their innovatory. Then their wife or what not followed suit. -_- Worse part of all, the person who was supposed to get it, deserved it being one of the most loyal and hard working members of the group. /sigh. Why.

I love ninja lotters....just what do they think they will accomplish? We've had it happen and then they leave the server and go to another one and probably screw yet another ls. Sometimes I wonder if this server hopping thing is that good of an idea between a-holes and rmts.

Along a similar line, I get sick of seeing the same people get the good equips over and over and over. It annoys me when leaders keep saying that they don't understand why people don't want to participate. DUH! 1 + 1 = 2 Idiots...

What difference does it make? As long as you're doing things on a need before greed basis, all it means is more people showing up. I mean, any problems with them are really completely unrelated (being assholes, being bad players) or stupid (your LS gives things to people they don't need that aren't going to help the group instead of giving to people who WILL use them to help the group)

Moment it happened everyone sent tells to other ls's and even post warnings on bg and alla o_O spread like wild fire i say. Plus for any in doubt I screenshotted the log as evidence :X
