If it makes you feel any better Murphie, there are like four people left in the game that I actually talk to, I have no LS and half the time I'm bored out of my mind because there is hardly anything in this game that you can solo.

I'm just in a rut because I'm between endgame shells but I've been really miserable in game lately. :/

I asked a good friend for help weeks ago. They agreed, but have since regretted it I guess, because no matter where I see them on the internet, I can't get a response. Messenger, LJ, forums, etc. It's like I don't exist. It just sucks.

Perhaps stepping away from the endgame scene for a bit will improve things. You know those newb LSes that do recruitment shouts in the starting towns? Join one, you might be surprised at what you find.

On topic: This week's pet peeve is not new, but something that randomly bothers me. Auto translator usage for simple words, even though everyone involved in the conversation speaks the same language. I don't care if it's faster or if you're embarrassed about not being able to spell very well, you look like a damn fool doing it. I have more respect for people who are bad at spelling and choose to type what they want to say anyway than the ones who translate things like the word Maybe.

That's because it's a not a word, and makes little sense in any language if not pronounced phonetically.


Personally, I have no problem with using AT for short phrases. It's part of the culture.
