Note: It is totally okay for sexy people to roleplay. That way, if you do end up meeting the mithra you didn't know was a guy, and he's hot, you can still get it on, and only feel mostly creepy and weird when you go back to hitting on him in the game.

The undercutting is driving me NUTS! Up to demon arrowheads with my bonecraft, I have 5 stacks of arrowheads, and have only sold one. Some guy just undercut the last sale by 4k!

Supply and demand, people.

Don't participate in market economy if you can't stomach the pricing volatility. IIRC, Selphiie's FFXI Farming Guide has a few farming idea based on NPC'ing the item instead of dealing with AH, if you don't like the prices changing on you.

I think her guide is great too, but when there's only 5 of something and I can't get it to sell ... it's a bit ridiculous.

If you have five of not-so-in-demand items and four didn't sell... Can always lower the prices and try again? Have to take into account how often people want whatever it is your selling as well.

Or, just sell them to NPCs. For example, Feather Collar may sell for 1k in home nations (on Ifrit), but takes two to three weeks to get rid of one. I'd rather NPC it for 38 Gil and be done with it, and find other things to sell than keep seeing it returned from the AH.

Well really I don't mind when people cut it by 100g or something, that's not an issue I'm talking the people who put it down by like 5k and then suddenly there's 20 more at that same lowered price and your shit is stuck there ... that's just annoying.

I wouldn't mind if it's just the changing economy but I swear it's like people wait until I put something up then they all decide to put theirs up at a lower price just to piss me off.

Lol. I don't think I'm ugly, but I'm not awesome either. you can judge for yourself, picture is in profile, Anyway. Honestly it doesn't matter, but I do, do my fair share of role playing, I think in RPs its fine because you are taking on the role of another person. At any note, I could care less what you are, the reason I posted the pic was to be funny.

I think the two main things were you seemed to think my post:

1) was more serious than it was (that is, not serious at all, under any interpretation of the word).
2) had something to do with you.

Of course, I could be misinterpreting pretty heavily, too.

I wasn't so much responding to what you were trying to say, or the sentiment of your post, but playing on a single interpretation of my perception of it (i.e., the fact that it was only "guys like this" playing females that was unacceptable; I didn't look at the picture, but I assume from the comments he's unattractive).

And now I've killed the attempted humor through explanation. Mercilessly, ruthlessly assassinated it in the name of clarity. Its lifeless body slumps on the cold, pale altar of fact, nevermore to traipse lightly through golden fields of teh funneh.
