I was tempted to set some up in my bazaar in Dynamis-Windurst one time, but the "too nice" people (you know who they are, always helping the cheap bastards and never letting them learn!) just gave them some anyway.

We used to be so close. What happened? I remember when I could just pop by for a bit and make a few Sadflies even sadder and you'd show up. It was always such fun.

But last night, little key... are you mad at me or somethin'? I mean, I know it's been a while, but come on. You could've just told me you were busy and I wouldn't have stuck around for three hours.

I guess being a third of the way through a level now is kind of cool, but I still would have rather seen my good buddy Gusgen Chest Key again!

I'm a bit peeved that I paid to renew my subscription, completely reinstalled the game, and now I don't have any time to play. :/

If you weren't so focused on your education, you'd have plenty of time to play.

One of my biggest pet peeves?

I have all sorts of plans and ideas on how to make gil. The problem? I can't setup an afk bazaar -.-

I'd make a killing selling stuff if I didn't just have the one phoneline and dialup.


It may not last long if people decided to compete and setup shops next to mine, but since I farm most of my synthing ingredients my profit tends to be higher than other peoples, and I'd go in with a full inventory of stuff to sell so it'd be pretty darn sweet while it lasted.

I'm really getting irritated with people asking over and over again {Party?}{Do you need it?} when I'm already in a party, especially when I have already said to them an hour ago that I'm already in one. I mean it's not that hard to see that my name is in either yellow or blue, maybe they are color blind and if so it seems FFXI has a very high precent of that then.

was in a party with a thf using a ridill yesterday D:
he was doing pretty good; like 2% behind me then I checked him and saw he had 18% more haste then me and was eating sushi
had he just used another dagger and ate kabobs (party was against colibri) he would have been destroying worlds

Duh, you're not gonna tank with /nin. You tank with /mnk or /sam in the 43 area

People who fake d/c out of merit parties because they don't want to "tank"

Had a WAR/NIN yesterday in the camp near Khimaira (Caedarva Mire). Setup was good, THF, RNG, SAM, WAR, WHM (me! Yay, I got to merit on WHM!) and RDM. MP was plentiful, imps were dying like no one's business, and no one was really getting hit. Even Repose was being kind to me.

WAR d/c's, no big deal, right? Well he doesn't come back, and we're doing so well we decide to keep going with 5, and we're still just tearing shit up, though us mages have to sit a little bit more. MP was so good though I don't think the RDM had to Convert even once. He could have, but he didn't actually need to. parties like that. We weren't going to invite a replacement because let's face it, getting to that camp is just a bit challenging.

Well, about 30 minutes later the WAR comes back and runs off.

I mean come on, it's so blatanly obvious you fake d/c'ed. It was a good party. If you didn't want to stay, or if you didn't want to tank, why didn't you just say so?

I realize I could have written this post with just the first line of it and nothing more, but I like to give details. Oh well. I got 3 merits yesterday, but I was interesting in going 10/10. :/

Receiving a blind invite, ignoring it, and then perhaps a minute later the person who sends it starts lecturing me in /tell about how I'm being rude because I didn't take the invite when my party flag is up. Conversation usually ends like this:

I'm surprised the warrior would even be supposed to tank. With a samurai and ranger in your party, it looks more like a TP burn setup and whatever you were fighting would go down quick. he sounds to be whining over nothing.
